We were only in town for a quick trip and friends recommended the Atlas for dinner. We are so glad they did! We had a great time and the food was outstanding! The fish was very fresh and tasted great! I recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Pensacola.

Atlas is a bit louder, more casual, a little less nice and maybe a bit darker? Maybe it was just in the corner we were seated at. We prefer Fish House, although it is basically the same menu. Shrimp étouffée was good, a bit on the salty side but ok. Grilled oysters were quite gritty. And my mahi was overcooked.

I've been coming here for years and I've never had a bad meal. In good weather you can sit outside and there's a nice view of boats and the water. It's in the old downtown section of Pensacola and great to have lunch or an early dinner after sight-seeing. I usually take all my out of town guests here and... More

Our group of 5 enjoyed a delightful meal on a cool evening overlooking the water and the aquarium. Friends from Alabama drove in and met us at the Atlas, a favorite of ours for Monday night oysters, but this was a Tuesday with Sushi specials so we all chose different entrees that normal. Every thing we tried was wonderful. I... More

So, why did I want to go to this place? woo-hoo! I saw their event line up saying that Mondays are Oyster Happy Hour + $2.00 drafts. I could not wait, marking time, so I jetted right on over, going over 30 minutes out of my way to step right up for the dozen bivalves on the half shell, nice... More

My daughter recommended the Atlas Oyster House and we were not disappointed. My wife took a chance and ordered the, 'World-Famous Grits à Ya Ya'. My daughter had 'Bacon-Wrapped Crab-Stuffed Shrimp' and I had a medium well done Ribeye Steak. I was worried about a dinner that had 'grits' in its name but it was fantastic. The bacon-wrapped shrimp was... More

If you like raw oysters, this is the best place to get them. Monday is their special day for oysters on the half shell and beer specials too. I've been here many times and continue to go back. Dining is available outside or inside. Tuesday is 1/2 price sushi night, which I've tried and they do a great job on... More

They share ownership and menus. Same great quality and atmosphere as Fish House, with a lower price. Great alternative when Fish House wait is too long!
