The good ole Flora-Bama. Gotta stop by here while at the beach! I've only been during the weekdays, not during the weekend nightlife, but enjoy stopping in there for a drink every once in awhile. Get a bushwacker and listen to the live music and just hang out. It's a cool divey place! If you do get hungry, I can... More

This is a world famous bar, and you must at least stop by there if you're in the area. It is located right on the border of, yep you guessed it, Florida and Alabama. It's a big place, that seems like it was just added onto over the years, so there's all these little weird wood filled rooms everywhere you... More

The night we went, there were several bands playing. It was crowded and there was a lot of energy there. It has really changed from a few years ago but was still fun.

We only managed a lunchtime stop at the roadhouse and the local Bingo was in full swing with folk enjoying themselves. We all had cheeseburgers which were surprisingly good and fresh, with plenty of salad and pickle. Fries were good too. It looks a bit tatty through the day, but it was very easy to see how it would come... More

I am not a bar/lounge type of person. However, my husband and I discovered this place on a sleepy Sunday afternoon before the night action began. In the afternoon band play in several different locations and we found the 'listening' room with great blues players entertaining a handful of patrons. Try the bushwackers, they are the best. Throughly enjoyed a... More

This place was highly recommended by our cab driver in orange beach. If your a country girl or guy... this is the spot. If your not its still the spot. Their drinks were awesome, and unique. The beach was amazing at twilight. Loved it.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner out on a picnic table. Do try the Gulf Coast blackened fish wrap! Prices on food and drink were fair. I am not an alcohol drinker so I like tonic water with lime and the barmaid said it was a dollar and to keep the glass for free refills all night. We heard some local talent.... More

I went to this bar last year and it was right on the beach, there were multiple great live music acts going on at the same time in different party of the bar. The bar is partially outdoors as well. It is also conveniently located across the street from a Waffle House. I didn't come here for the food but... More

To me, a trip to the Alabama beaches is not complete without a stop at Flora-Bama. First of all, it is very clearly a BAR. For people that complain about cover charges, paying for drinks, crowds, lines, etc., you may want to avoid it here. This is not the place to get a gourmet meal and anyone who tells you... More

Went here on their 50th birthday celebration. The food was typical of bar food, no complaints. The buns they serve the burgers on were great. The entertainment was the highlight. If you are a bar type person this is the place for you! Not a place I would go back to as just not for me. My preferences shouldn't reflect... More
