Mostly a bar, so don't go for food. They serve a lot of oysters a lot of ways if you really want oysters. But unless you're going to drink, you could skip this one.

Skip this place. I had given this place a 2 (poor) until I started thinking about it (I have been trying to forget it for the past 1 1/2 weeks). I've seen Flora-Bama on TV a few times and since we were in the area we gave it a try. First of all, calling this place a "lounge" is a... More

I went here with 2 friends, it was nice to see a real mix of ages. Seemed like loads of bars, from live bands, random bras hanging from the ceiling, fans, sticky floorboards, graffiti bathrooms, beer logos and a 'mullet toss' whatever that is - good fun and if you can dance and drink and spend some time i bet... The atmosphere and location is amazing. Right on the beach. Fun place to hangout. Turns into a bar for 21 and over ar night/after 6. Haven't tried the food but it smelled amazing.

When planning our trip to the Florida Panhandle numerous friends said "Make sure you got to Flora-Bama". Did some research online and thought...yes, definitely like a place we'd like spend an afternoon. We were staying about 2 hours away, but definitely worth the trip. Walking up to the restaurant bar, didn't know what to expect. It's like they just kept... More

This bar is very large and a little like a maze. You go upstairs and downstairs and around corners and in and out of rooms. There are a whole bunch of bars throughout the property, so you can stay well hydrated, but you may have to wait in a bit of line at most of them. The outside bars only... More

When traveling to Pensacola I heard from multiple people that Flora-Bama Lounge was a must see! I have to say, I had a great experience. The bar itself had multiple floors both inside and out. Each area had a different vibe with different music and entertainment. Flora-Bama isn't much of a restaurant or even a place I would visit during... More

My wife and I went there during our annual vacation to Pensacola. We got there right at opening time to avoid the crowds. I enjoyed a dozen Oysters Perdido, and then a dozen raw. Both were fresh and very tasty. They did take a little bit to get our food to us, especially since we were the only two in... More

EVERYONE said you MUST go here. HUH ??? The place was empty on a Friday afternoon. Food was good and drinks were cold but that's about all I have to say...There were so few people that we had to go to the beach to ask someone to take our photo. Great tee-shirts in gift shop, so we got our junky... More

We went on a Wednesday afternoon. We listened to two bands and did not pay a cover for either. It was a fun retreat from the cold rainy weather. I saw other people coming upstairs with baskets of food but I never did see where the restaurant was located. We had just eaten lunch so food was not an issue.
