Atlas is a favorite of locals and visitors alike. It is "the place" to find delicious local oysters. Apalachicola Bay and East Bay oysters are harvested and driven to us fresh each day. Try them raw, baked, or steamed. The freshness and taste of these savory mollusks can't be beat.Atlas prepares locally caught fish and shellfish-such as red snapper, grouper, mahi-mahi, blue crab, and Gulf shrimp-in a variety of ways. The menu also includes cold-smoked steaks, chicken, and pasta entrées as well as daily specials, sushi, and a children's menu. In addition, many Fish House favorites are served at Atlas. The dessert list includes our famous key lime pie. Don't miss Tuesdays for half-price sushi and $2.00 domestic draft beers starting at 5 p.m. and going until 10 p.m.

Visited on a particularly rainy day week of 7/14/14, so we had to sit inside. Probably due to the rain and humidity, the inside smelled dank and like spilled beer, vaguely like a frat house. Personally, I did not enjoy being seated in a corner by one of the doors that exits to the deck. This seemed to be the... More

Great water view, sit inside and look out, or on the expansive deck for even better view of water and sky and clouds. Dress is casual yet there's an elegant feeling to the Fish House; Atlas feels more casual, tho they share a single building and deck, and many menu items. My fiancé had been bragging on the Fish House's... More

Priscilla was a great server. She recommended the shrimp and grits and it was a good meal. I like mine with a little more sauce on top of the mound of grits but it was good. She recommended the crab claw app and it was great. The claws are cracked and you get good small bites of meat. Served in... More

The bathrooms were filthy smelling if urine and the water wouldn't get hot for me to wash my hands. The oysters were great but the bar service sucks. My beer was empty more than once and then when servers would pass by and make eye contact they wouldn't offer to get me another. We have been here twice and the... More

Sat at a table right by the water. It was gorgoeus! Unfortunately our server was horrible. She was not friendly and barely came over, and when she did and we weren't ready for a new drink she said: "I just don't want you to have to wait on me" (AKA I'm not coming back to your table for a long... Negatives: We wanted an outdoor table on a tuesday night and were told it would be a 15 minute wait. Turned out to be almost an hour wait with hungry, tired kids. The bar area is very small and difficult to get a drink ordered unless you're perched on one of the few stools. It is very expensive for a... More

The food is good and the oysters are big, but something about the grilled maui maui didn't agree with me and ruined my night out! Get ready to wait at least 30-40 minutes though!

The Grits A Ya Ya is a meal that I must keep coming back for! When you go for Sunday brunch, they bring you little beignets to start your meal. The food is amazing.
