OMG, this is the best food I have ever eaten! As a child, we used to summer at Pensacola Beach (which I miss with all my heart) as an adult (my parents live there now) we visit occasionally. I think we ordered 4 dozen oysters before my husand and I were full. I didn't even get sick the next day... more

I sampled the food and drink in Peg Leg Pete;s while stay with relatives who live in gulf Breeze the food was superb !!! and to find Newcastle Brown ale was brilliant I live next to Newcastle. I will be back in 2008 for more more

We ate lunch at Peg Leg Pete's on Sunday, 11/11/07. Our group of three had the yellow fin tuna dip, 1/2 lb steamed shrimp, 1/2 dozen raw oysters, the Grouper Sandwich and the Shrimp wrap. The yellow fin tuna dip gets 5+ stars. The remaining items we purchased were just average. The shrimp wrap was mostly cheese....we did find 3... more

We traveled 20 miles each way to try this restaurant and we were not disappointed. It was off season, on a Sunday, and we still had to wait for a table while most other restaurants were half empty. It was obvious from looking at the other tables that oysters were a prime draw. Most tables had oysters on the half... more

This restaurant was truly a bad restaurant. We called ahead to ask them if they could accomodate 10 people which they said they could. I ate here on Sunday, December 17. The food was very good. The mixed grill is very tasty and rather large. My only complaint was the wait to be served.
