Great Breakfast

We have been visiting the diner for breakfast about twice a month. Service is always prompt and friendly. Favorites include the Philly cheesesteak omelet and fresh squeezed orange juice. We've seen this cool retro aluminum diner several times as we looked for real estate in the area. We finally went there for lunch today and it instantly became our new go-to. We think our grown children and their children will love it. The menu covers everything from diner standards like patti melts and malts to trendy veggie fare like... More

We were looking for a good local place (not a chain) to have dinner when we arrived at our hotel in Pensacola, FL. The Scenic 90 Cafe was recommended to us by our hotel desk clerk who told us he was born and raised in this area. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent, the service was great and... More

They don't just fill your milkshake glass they give you the metal container too! If you want extra malt they will add it but I find regular to be enough. The menu has typical shiny metal diner food, but also an upscale menu in the $14.95 range from the old Skopolos restuarant. The Margarita Grouper was deeeeeeelightful, with tequila and... More

We tried Scenic 90 via gowaiter.com. Gowaiter was spot on as far as expected delivery time; however, one item in our order of 5 entrees was incorrect-(received grilled catfish, ordered fried)- big boo-boo when the diner doesn't eat grilled. Cheeseburger and Pastrami Grinder were both average. We didn't agree with the rave reviews over the milkshakes..also average. Two house salads... More

We've only been to this cafe three times. It's easy to see that the management wants to make a good impression. However, today's service was the worst I have had in my life. The male server was late getting to the table, rude during serving, the order was wrong, the other waitresses had to help with drinks... must I go... More

A previous reviewer stated this was a historic landmark. Not so. Diner is only about 10yrs. old or so, they do not claim to be historic. Crawfish & Andouille omelet was to die for, side of grits was skimpy but rye toast was very good. Ham/cheese omelet was excellent. We had to wait quite a bit for the food, but... More

Stopped in for an early lunch. Place was busy but service was good. Excellent smoked salmon omelette and Mexican Turkey wrap. Shrimp Po Boy needed a little more kick. Definitely recommend!

My family and I were looking for a good place for lunch in the area, most places were closed since it was Sunday. My husband ordered chicken fried steak with red beans and rice and coleslaw. I figured I would order the special, brisket and ordered onion rings and a tossed salad. The salad was good with a blush vinegrete... More

We went and order two sandwiches and a pizza. The pizza was undoubtly put into a freezer at some point before being cooked. The onion rings were burnt, the fries limp, the meat for my au jus sandwich was so dry, and now I have indigestion. It has been twenty inured since we ate. We opted out of dessert for... More
