Some of the best FRESH seafood you'll ever have. This is not a fancy restaurant, you will eat out of a basket with plastic cutlery but I'll take that any day for the great food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. The baked beans were like nothing I've tasted before - awesome!! Expect it to be busy at peak times so... More

This restaurant was on our list for our vacation to Pensacola. The reviews I read were very good. I have eaten a lot of good fresh seafood in my time, but the fried shrimp and grouper was a huge disappointment here. Both the shrimp and grouper were fried too long. The shrimp were rubbery and the grouper was dry---not moist... More

I am so sorry that you did not enjoy dining with us. If you are still in Pensacola, please come back by so that I can properly prepare your meal for free. I do want to mention that we use a mixture of cracker meal and flour for our fried seafood. Most people love it but others say it's too... More

This place ain't fancy...but has great fried seafood at very cheap prices. My wife had the grouper sandwich and fries. Sand. was $7 and $1.75 for fries. Fish was thick beautiful real grouper. I had dozen shrimp. The shrimp was very large. The breading was a little thick for me but that is a personal preference. They were very good... More

After stopping briefly at their parent seafood market, we walked across the property to this quaint, simple seafood shanty. Even though the place was very crowded with a lunch crowd, we only waited a short time before being seated. The restaurant keeps things prompt by limiting their menu with minimal changes, but no one in our group was disappointed. As... More

What a great experience. The food was absolutely amazing and predominantly comprised of fried fish and seafood (although my wife had a great seafood salad). We had the grouper and seafood plates with the cheese grits and the hush puppies. By far and away the best hush puppies I have ever eaten. The service was friendly and excellent, the prices... More

If you want fresh seafood, this is the place. Only open for lunch. Prices are super cheap. Most everything is fried but it was not a greesy fried taste. Gumbo was to die for! Worth the drive for the freshest seafood in the area.

This place has been around forever! I love it. The restaurant is set next to the Joey P's seafood market, which is also worth a visit. It is set among the palms on a quiet side street, and it appears well frequented by locals. I have never had to wait long for a seat, the service has always been quick... More

We visited this restaurant for the first time, this is the freshest best seafood I have had in Pensacola, Ft. Walton, Navarre or Destin. They give you big quantities and we had to bring some food home. The breading on the seafood is light and not greasy, the large shrimp are very large, we had the shrimp and fish (basa... More

Ok no gimmicks not a bar just great seafood. Unlike the rubber seafood you will get from other popular area locations this the real deal. Come early unless you want to wait. Closed Sunday and Monday. If you are into seafood bring a cooler and visit their fresh seafood market. Check both websites for details
