Having visited with McGuires in Destin and loved it we were looking forward to this visit in Pensacola. However we were disappointed. We ordered their special good day for lunch. It was fried chicken, collard green and mashed potatoes. The vegetables were the highlight of the day. The chicken was dry. There signature bread was not warm. The soup is... More

We rolled in for a happy hour dinner, and sat at the bar. The staff was great, food very good, and 1/2 price double martinis were very reasonable. The place is dark, with a little ton of cash on the walls, ceilings, and anywhere people can find a place to leave their mark. (Est. $1.6 million!) Overall a nice place... More

The parking lot was full, but we still got right in. The fun decor, but all the money stapled to the ceiling is bazaar. Many variations of 3/4 pound hamburgers- big, but normal hamburgers. Generous portions, enough to serve 2 people

Hello and thanks for your review. I'm not sure what exactly happened in your situation except from your brief review of your account here. Sometimes our wait at the door can be longer than 20 minutes. We operate on a first come/first serve basis. If when you get here the wait is longer we can not just skip everyone that... More

On our way to New Orleans we made certain to time our dinner at McGuire's. For those who do not know about this gem, it is one of the most successful, high grossing restaurants in the entire country..with good reason. Great atmosphere ($1.35 million dollars and counting) with dollar bills all over the place, huge dining areas, people having a... More

McGuire's is the most popular and famous restaurant in Pensacola. The atmosphere is amazing and the food and drinks are even better! The staff is on top of their game! When you walk in and see the walls and ceiling lined with $1 dollar bills along with all the other decor your eyes will have plenty to look at. The... More

The best shepherd's pie I have ever eaten. Husband and son each had the Sausage plate which gave you 4 types of sausage, sauerkraut and one of their specialty beers for $13.99. Also, they have a specialty drink called the Irish Wake which is a blended drink you have to try. They have a tradition in which you kiss the... More

We have been going to McGuire's for years & always get a good meal. Only downside is that it is so popular it is always crowded. Service is good & although it is above average I am only rating it 4 * FYI. Don't miss a visit of you are in P'cola.
