Lovely dinner on the patio

We had a great date night at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the cocktails were too. We loved sitting on the patio and watching the sunset. We told the waiter not to hurry us, since we never get a night away from our kids, so enjoyed a nice, long dinner and the waiter never made us feel... read more

We had driven to Pensacola to go to Patti's place to buy fresh seafood and stopped on our way back to Gulf Shores to have lunch at the Marina. The view was of the inlet where the boats came in and out of the channel and the food was excellent. I had the Oysters Rockefeller and it was delicious. We... More

The restaurant was pretty, and our waitress nice. But the bathrooms were trashed, and the food was not good. Even the oysters were shriveled. I love gumbo, and did not eat but a few bites. I also had bbq shrimp, but only ate 2 pieces of it....nasty. And I love bbq shrimp! Very very pricy for such poor food quality!

I surprised my wife with eating here because we'd planned to for quite some time. The scenery was great and the weather was perfect for an outside table (which we always prefer). We ordered an appetizer and salad to come before our meal, their Stuffed Snapper. We had planned for the salad and Calamari to come first and the Snapper... More

My husband and I ordered fried oysters. They were flavorful, but over cooked. The cole slaw had a good flavor, but was way too creamy. The fried shrimp kids plates were loaded with shrimp, which was nice for a change. Hush puppies were good. Patio view of water is nice if you can get a table out there. Pricey.

Get there early, 5:00pm. We lucked out and got going early. The place is large with plenty of seating. The waiting staff did an outstanding job. The food was excellent. Typical tourist restaurant, but they make it worth the trip. Seafood is outstanding. We had shrimp and oysters, shrimp fettucine, and fried crab claws. You will not be disappointed .

First off, the food once it came was good and the location was pretty. However, it took forever for our food to arrive. We asked about our appetizers about 25 minutes after we ordered them...took another 10 minutes. Then our entrees took about 45 minutes after that. When the manager checked on us, she promised drink refills which came about... More

Spent the weekend at the A&M Predido Resort just down the street from the Oyster Bar. Locals and several resort guests mentioned how much they enjoyed the Oyster Bar so we decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious, the location was beautiful right on the water, and the prices very reasonable. Blackened Grouper was... More

Right on the water. Had to wait to be seated (didn't take reservations), but the food was worth it. Service pretty much sucked. Literally had to refill our own drinks. But as mentioned, food was great. Think our waitress was newer or having a bad night. We weren't the only ones with problems.

Our family has been coming here for many years and always enjoyed it. In the past 3-4 years the quality of food & service has declined. The location & outdoor bar are amazing and so we continue to come here. This year the bright spot to our visit was our waiter. He was very knowledgable about the menu and extremely... More
