Best Fried Chicken I've Ever Had

I got a tip from a local resident to dine here. Very satisfied. Do your own research and decide for yourself, but I plan to go again.

We loved our first visit to this restaurant one year ago, so wanted to introduce friends on our visit this year. Unfortunately, the service and quality of food were not what we expected. We ordered the sister's sampler appetizer to share among our group. The food arrived at our table before the appetizer, so we had to cancel the appetizer.... More

We haven't been for a while, so it was nice to go back. We had the fried green tomato appetizer-WAY different, spicy breading makes this! The shrimp with andouille sausage/panko breading is wonderful! Dinner was their signature fried chicken. Tender, great crust, hot, just what you expect. I had the yams (like eating apple pie for a veggie!!) and the... More

I could just be used to my Granny's cooking but this place a little over rated and high priced for me. My mac and cheese tasted likfe Stouffer's and my chicken was a little dry. Maybe it wasnt brined correctly or I could just be spoled on my Granny's southern home cooking. If you cant cook soul food this would... More

This Place used to be an old record shop, so it has a great vibe. We had eight in our group, and our server was very friendly. Food was very tasty and had great presentation.

Dont let the neighborhood scare you off! This is a real find in the downtown Pensacola area. Food is true Southern soul food with class. New facility, great service and the food is worth driving out of your way to get there for a wonderful meal. The have a blues band in the evening which is very good and the... More

Our group ate at Five Sisters twice within a week b/c our first meal was so good. The servers were pleasant both times but the service was just OK, slowed by the bartenders. All our meals were top notch-red beans and rice with andouille sausage, country fried steak, jambalaya, shrimp and cheesy grits and roast beef po boy. First time... More

I'm not sure how anyone can be satisfied with the food at this restaurant. The ambiance is awesome and so was the music but the food, the reason I traveled to this establishment, was bland and cold. FYI, a smothered pork chop should be fried, collard greens are no good cold (yours anyway), cornbread dressing should not be that stiff... More

I ordered fried chicken and biscuits, they were real tasty. Dessert was pecan cobbler and that was just like mom makes, I will definitely return. If you like fried chicken this is the place to go.
