I tried the turkey with dressing. I had two sides of cornbread dressing, each had a different gravy. A dark brown gravy on one helping that was too salty and it's taste did nit complimentbthe dressing. The other gravy seemed more apppriopriate for turkeyband dressing, I believe it was a giblet style gravy. It too was terribly salty. The dressing... More

Just enjoyed a fantastic lunch here. Our group enjoyed the shrimp and grits; the shrimp Po-boy; and the chicken salad, pulled pork, and turkey and bacon sandwiches. All were delicious and the peach cobbler was outstanding. We arrived at noon and only had to wait 5-10 minutes to be seated. Service was great, very attentive and food arrived quickly. Plus... More

Family of five visited Saturday night for dinner. Service was great mostly because our server "Prentess" (sp?) had so much personality! He was so fun! Unfortunately, his great personality could not overcome the mediocre to poor food. I rely on trip advisor to steer me in the right direction when traveling, but you guys got it wrong. I should have... More

We visited 5 Sisters for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. The food is freshly cooked and shows no sign of coming from a can. I had the redfish special and it was delicious! Our server was Curt and he was awesome!

This is a very popular place in a restored brick building. So, if you go at prime lunchtime or prime dinnertime, be prepared to wait. Fried chicken and soul food is what they serve. It's all good, and the portions are big enough that you can share. Because we did share, five of us ate for $46 dollars including soft... More

You get what you pay for here, huge portions, and good food. Live music to eat to, and relax. Good assortment of items to chose from, reasonably priced, nice atmosphere, and friendly and menu knowledgeable wait staff.

I expected more from such a highly rated restaurant. First of all, the music was extremely loud. So you cannot talk comfortably to your table. Not a good place for a date. The food was average soul food, nothing special. Personally, I've had better soul food at family reunions but it was OK. The service felt rushed and the waiter... More

Go for the southern sides and the chicken. Their other dishes are standard fair. So if are in the mood for southern cooking and some blues put this place on you list.
