This is a very popular place in a restored brick building. So, if you go at prime lunchtime or prime dinnertime, be prepared to wait. Fried chicken and soul food is what they serve. It's all good, and the portions are big enough that you can share. Because we did share, five of us ate for $46 dollars including soft... More

You get what you pay for here, huge portions, and good food. Live music to eat to, and relax. Good assortment of items to chose from, reasonably priced, nice atmosphere, and friendly and menu knowledgeable wait staff.

I expected more from such a highly rated restaurant. First of all, the music was extremely loud. So you cannot talk comfortably to your table. Not a good place for a date. The food was average soul food, nothing special. Personally, I've had better soul food at family reunions but it was OK. The service felt rushed and the waiter... More

Go for the southern sides and the chicken. Their other dishes are standard fair. So if are in the mood for southern cooking and some blues put this place on you list.

Our waitress told us the fried chicken was good - and she was right! It was savory and delicious. The fried okra was also melt in the mouth good.

Our hostess at the b&b suggested several restaurants to try, but failed to mention 5 sisters cafe. I'm glad my wife found it online in spite of that oversight. On a Sat night we had no wait for a table. The patio looked nice, but it was a hot evening, so we ate inside. Our waiter was AWESOME. He kept... More

If you are in the area, take the time to eat here! We loves the pulled pork, grilled shrimp po'boy and the sister's sampler. The kids chicken tenders were enjoyed by our 5 year old too! I will come here again! Great live music too!

Took my family here after reading tripadvisor reviews and we were pleasantly surprised! My kiddos (8 and 7) loved the food, specifically the fries and my fiance loved his alligator poboy. My shrimp poboy was tender and great too! We sat out on the deck and had attentive service and they were super nice to our kids. Price was right... More

We arrived toward the end of lunch...around 1:00 on a Tuesday. There was a good crowd when pulled in the parking lot & opted to sit outside. It took a while to have a waitress come to the table to take drink orders & then again to place food orders. All 4 in the party had sandwiches...Shrimp PoBoy, Fried Green... More

Recently tried Five Sisters Blues Cafe for the second time. Decided not to report the first visit as it was mediocre and the service was lacking. Out of grace I did not post and wanted to try this place again. Love the decor, the location, the whole story behind this restaurant. On the first visit I had the pork chops.... More
