This is the food I grew up on. Having moved from Georgia to Saint Augustine I have been missing this type of food. We were visiting Pensacola for the week and I came across this place. I had the fried pork chops, okra, and black eyed peas. They were AMAZING!! The staff was friendly and informative. Will definitely eat here... More

We were in town for the day and trusted TripAdvisor for our dinner plans. We were not disappointed. From the service to the food everything ranged from good to great. Fried chicken, red beans n rice and okra were all great. Mashed potatoes were ok. Blueberry bread pudding was good. Atmosphere is perfect for this food. We will be back... More

Have eaten here several times-lunch, Sunday brunch, dinner, jazz night. Lots of great choices from seafood, salads, sandwiches, barbcue pork, gumbo, specials… I've had a wide range from the menu and seem to gravitate to the veggie plates. All dishes are well prepared and tasty. Service is always great. The only downside is that Five Sisters is so popular you... More

What a fun time we had last Sunday. The atmosphere is as important and as good as the food. Good food, good service, good entertainment. Clarence on the keyboards was great. We ordered a little bit of everything and shared - very good. My Bloody Mary was a mix - yuck. Everything else was perfect. Tell Clarence that Constance said... More

The host and waitresses set up a table for us, but it only seated 11. So they had to rearrange the tables which could potentially block the kitchen door, so we had to move again. This time we were set up at two different tables to accommodate our numbers. This was ok. What was not ok was the time it... More

The fried chicken here is "to die for". I have ordered it there over 10 times and it is consistently the best. Be sure to go on a Tuesday or a Sunday when Mia is working at the bar. She will definitely take care of you.

I decided to eat here based on the ratings and reviews. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant even tho the service was slow. The Fried Chicken and the fried okra with jalapeno dipping sauce were the best things I tasted here. The Macaroni and cheese was dry and bland, the mashed potatoes and gravy tasted like boxed potatoes they... More

We have eaten here twice while in the Pensacola area. The fried chicken was the reason we went back. I don't normally eat the skin but this was so good. We shared the three piece white meat which was two large breasts and a wing. I had the spiced yams and pineapple coleslaw, husband had mashed potatoes with gravy and... More
