We loved this cafe...I was looking forward to a good Southern meal and definitely got one! Chicken and waffles, cheese grits and a spicy bloody Mary (it had a pickled okra on it, I hate okra, but LOVED this one). My husband wasn't feeling southern, so the chef cooked up a special order for him, which he loved. The ambiance... More

Off the beaten path a bit but if you find this place its a Gem! Sunday Brunch and Blues music makes for a great atmosphere! Chicken & Waffles was amazing! Also have other New Orleans Style dishes that looked great!! I will be enjoying this little place for weekends to come!

We were given a suggestion to dine here by local friends who enjoy eating out here. We went on a Tuesday night around seven or so. It was not terribly busy, as would be expected for a Tuesday night. We were a party of 5, and were seated immediately. Our drink order was taken and promptly returned. What I must... More

Our second visit to eat here. Absolutely enjoyed it this time as the last. The server was a little slow and we had to wait on a chicken breast to be cooked but everything was still delicious. The fried green tomatoes were yummy!

I have heard raves about this place, only to be disappointed. I ordered New Orleans style roast beef po boy. The meat was uniform like "steak um" dry and no flavor at all. The sweet potato fries were good. The server was prompt and pleasant . I could find a better place to spend $12. This meal was eaten at... More

Everything I've eaten here has been great. Bring an appetite because you will want to eat every morsel on your plate! Whether it is fried, broiled or baked you will not be disappointed. Regardless of the meat, I always order mac and cheese - yum. Most nights there is live jazz music playing inside. It can get a little loud... More

We ordered Chicken & Waffles... The service from the bartender (a tall black lady) was very pleasant & the food...wooooow was hot & amazingly GOOD!!! The decor was surprisingly nice! I would recommend this a thousand times over!

The pork chops were dry & tough and the cornbread dressing was dry also. They both seemed to have been just heated up and not freshly made. The collard greens were not tender and bland. The only thing that was good was the fresh rolls.

I tried the turkey with dressing. I had two sides of cornbread dressing, each had a different gravy. A dark brown gravy on one helping that was too salty and it's taste did nit complimentbthe dressing. The other gravy seemed more apppriopriate for turkeyband dressing, I believe it was a giblet style gravy. It too was terribly salty. The dressing... More
