Okay for lunch

Ate lunch, I ordered egg salad, which I usually love, but this was finely ground eggs and blah taste. I also had a cup of roasted red pepper and corn soup, which was delicious. Everyone else ordered Reuben or twin tower sandwiches, I wish I had ordered what they did! Chairs okay for lunch, but... read more

A neat little jewel of a deli. Great food and good service. Have never tried their desserts, but they appear to be quite tempting as your paying tge bill!

This is a casual small place which can get really lively especially on weekends. Parking can be a bit of a challenge. However, a little trouble is well worth it. The food is always fabulous. You can see a lot of the salads in a display case or waiters coming though with food deliveries while you are waiting. They have... More

We ate at NY Deli on January 8, 2015. It was a nice easy time. The waiter, Don was suberb. Checked on us when needed & didn't bother us when we didn't need him. Food was delicious & the service was fantastic. More importantly, Don was a nice humble server. We'll be back.

In town on business and my group was looking for a good lunch spot. It was suggested we try the New Yorker Deli across the street from our destination. Not much to look at from the outside. An old house probably built in the 1920's. Parking is scare but we found a spot and ventured inside. Rustic would be a... More

We go here often for dinner on the weekends and we never have a parking problem. We are never disappointed (love the salads, pastas, desserts) They have a new salad with strawberries, chicken, goat cheese and other great stuff. Our favorite server is Christian and we look forward to seeing him.

Everything I have had here is very good and the prices are great. The shrimp salad is my favorite thing. The salad plate sampler is great and if you get 3 it's enough to share. Recently, I tried the pizza and it was ok, needs more sauce and seasoning. I would like to try one of their soups next time.

This place is REALLY small and gets crowded quickly at lunch time. The food is great and the staff is even better. I agree with the rest - finding a parking space can be really hard. Remember to look at the lunch specials and don't be afraid to try something new. Worth a stop and a revisit.

Pros: Good food. Huge menu options. Good prices. Good location. Friendly wait staff. Outdoor seating. Cons: Parking (this place always seems packed, but when you go inside there's usually not as many people it's weird) I just got back from New York City and this place didn't exactly remind me of New York food. Specifically the pizza, it was delicious,... More
