Joe Patti gets high ratings but must be for the seafood market not the restaurant. I got the fried oyster and shrimp combo. My wife got fried grouper. Unfortunately the batter used on this fried seafood was terrible. It was heavy bread like and of course just soaked up the grease. I was raised on the gulf coast so know... More

I love, love, love Joe Patti's. What ever seafood you are craving, they got it. They will even steam it right then and there for you. Fresh daily for sure. They have an awesome little market inside with fresh baked breads and everything you need to prepare your seafood for dinner. You can also get the best sushi around. They... More

Gumbo excellent. Lightly fried grouper good. Not much grilled or blackened. Crab cakes had some bread. 2 gumbos, grouper, crab cake came to total of $22.58. Repeat $22.58. Have not seen such prices in 3 decades. Definitely worth a visit. And, a re-visit.

For fresh seafood of ALL types this is your place. They do make sushi there but I am not that much of a fan of their sushi (too much rice for my liking). The market has fish of all kinds, shrimp, lobster, etc. The gulf seafood is fresh. They also have T-shirts, spices, cookbooks, frozen prepared meals, etc. Lots of... More

JP's has the freshest seafood you'll ever find unless you catch it yourself. It is ALWAYS busy but the efficiency of the management and staff is better than you could ever expect for an operation of that size. Even if you don't buy anything, it's a treat just to go in and watch the dexterity of the people behind the... More

This place came highly recommended from someone at our condo. He could not have been more spot on. If you want the freshest seafood in the are - you have to stop here. We bought 5 lbs of fresh gulf shrimp - had it steamed, seasoned and put on ice. AWESOME! THE BEST! The albs of shrimp didn't even make... More

I like the sites and history of this place but absolute hate to see great Gulf of Mexico shrimp soaking in water....mushy, mushy, mushy. I have "peeled n eat'ed'em" for over 60 years and I know good shrimp. Being here every summer for eleven years, I go to JP's to see what all the "high rating" is about, then, walk... More

Coming in here on a Saturday morning, the place was buzzing. Everything looked fantastic- they've got a huge selection of fresh seafood available across the whole spectrum. There's a small grocery in one section with a deli and a gelato stand. My wife and I bought some sushi for the beach and it was awesome. They gladly filled our cooler... More

Awesome place. The lady that took our order was very friendly. Then they helped us carry our coolers back to our car. I bought a lot of seafood coz we live far. We will definitely be back to this store. Thanks.
