I think the worst thing a friend can do is rave about a restaurant. So when you get there there is an expectation. The food just did not live up to anything I would travel to go here. It was OK but I will probably not go again. Too many great restaurants to go to in this area.

We loved this place the first time. That was three years ago. We've been back 6 or 7 times trying to recapture that first experience. It hasn't happened. Oysters were overcooked/undercooked, other seafood was over fried. Service was ok (pleasant), but couldn't make up for the unimpressive fare. Sorry, this is just not very good

Not much to look at, but the food was EXCELLENT! We tried a variety of fried, blackened, and grilled seafoods -- all was very good. The surprising, standout side item was the mac & cheese -- try it!

When you call for a reservation, remember to tell them you want an inside reservation, it's hot outside. And if drum is the fish of the day, grouper is much better. The special with grouper, shrimp, and grits with bacon was excellent. Blackened drum was good.

We have been coming to Perdido Key for over 25 years and have eaten at many restaurants from Gulf Shores, to Orange Beach, to Pensacola, to Destin. Fisherman's Corner has the best fresh fish specials, that change frequently through the week, of any restaurants along the coast. Yes a funky location, but worth the effort. Fantastic seafood gumbo, and crab... More

I have mixed feelings about this Restaurant. Even though I don't like it, I'll admit it may be the best near Perdido Key. I've eaten here three times but I will never go back, 3 strikes and you're out. I grew up in a family from the 6th ward of New Orleans. I know Cajun and Creole cuisine. You don't... More

Excellent experience. Not a place you would expect to need a reservation, the wait was quite reasonable. Best seafood pasta I have ever had, Pasta Coippio. Daily special grilled grouper on a grit cake with veggies and shrimp.

A surprising blend of New Orleans style casual upscale dining...and fine dining Florida style. The food is quite lovely, visually and full of all levels of flavor. Shrimp and grits take on a new personality with the fried grits floating in the center of a pool of wow sauce and tender shrimp...bread pudding is exceptional.Generous servings. We were there early... More
