Could be better if they just cleaned up inside and out

We have eaten here two times within the last couple of weeks. While I am not going to comment too much on the food because I feel everyone's tastes are different, I do have some opinions about the look of the place. We had someone recommend this place to us and we were not disappointed. Not much to look at on the outside, the inside is clean and neat. Brent was our server and he was outstanding, making recommendations that were great. I had the fried grouper-excellent--my wife had the blackened grouper and it too was excellent. We had the fried oysters... More

This incredible out of the way restaurant is one of our top 3 places to eat. Every item on the menu is delicious. We have eaten at Fishermans Corner dozens of times and it never disappoints. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable and take care of your every dining need promptly. Get there early as it is not a big... More

In the winter months they appear to be slacking somewhat. Out of bread at six o'clock when Publix is right next door. Caesar salad had very little dressing and no garlicky taste at all like normal. My baked potato was so cold butter would not melt. The seafood was good and the fried sweet potatoes were good. Waiter Andre did... More

We dined there based on the good reviews, but were very disappointed. 2 of us arrived noonish on a Saturday and there were less than 20 people there, so not a busy time. Based on previous reviews, I was prepared for some slow service, and yes it was slow every step of the way: seeing a waiter (5 minutes), getting... More

Was our first time to visit, second for my folks, and I hope it's not the last. Absolutely the best meal we have had in all of our visits to the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area. Two of us ordered their special which was a blackened grouper with a crawfish creole sauce. The other two in our party had the shrimp... More

I checked yes to "is this one of the best meals you have ever had in a resturant"--cause it was. I had the snapper special, it was GREAT. My wife had the Grouper over grits, it was better. We also had the gumbo--it was the second best gumbo I have tasted. All in all, a near perfect experience. I could... More

It was great food, but we didn't know you needed reservations to get a good table, but they worked us in and we enjoyed our blackened shrimp, fish, crab, and fried fish . The sides were wonderful, fresh squash sautéed and fried okra!

This is a place you could miss if you if you aren't looking for it..This is a sleeper..The bread pudding is to die for...When we went we almost didn't get out. That would have been a big mistake. The Shrimp and Grits are the best we have had down here.
