Don't judge it by its looks

Fishermans Corner doesn't look like much from the outside, but do not judge it by its looks. We arrived on a Saturday evening around 6:00 pm and saw a line of people waiting to get in. My wife and I stopped here on our honeymoon hoping for some great seafood. The shrimp po boy was average, shrimp wasn't well seasoned. Her veggie if the day was covered in a large amount of pepper.

From the outside it looks like a fishing shack, but inside are nice tables and some wonderful Cajun-Creole food. Been here three times and I've never been disappointed. Nice Sunday brunch, as well as fabulous dinner fare. Loved shrimp and grits, spicy baked oysters, po boys, crawfish étouffée, and crab cake eggs Benedict.

Soft shell crabs grilled or fried are my girlfriends favorite. Super fresh, clean, well presented fish! The outside must be a joke, very raggedy, but inside is nice and This is one of our all time favorite restaurants, which now also has Big Fish in Orange Beach on the list. Entrees are ~$17 and the big sampler dinner is ~24... More

My wife and I love this spot but it was my parents that first showed us this amazing little hidden gem! It's off under the bridge and hard to get to but so worth it! You will definitely not be disappointed! We've been here about 10 times now and I've never had anything that wasn't great!

We first dined there March 2014 after my son's graduation at NASP. There were 14 in our party. It was on a Friday night, so it took about 45 mins to get a table that size. The waiter was excellent in getting everyone's drink orders correct from tea to specialty drinks. With so many in our party, we ordered everything... More

I like this place; have eaten there twice-Sunday brunch and lunch. Both excellent meals. I had the linguine with shrimp and crayfish in a very rich creamy sauce with a little cayenne heat--excellent. As I watched other meals being served, I saw at least three more dishes I would love to try. They have a good selection of sandwiches, their... More

Based on Trip Advisor we (two retired couples) visited Fishermans Corner on our winter vacation to Pensacola. This is not a place to miss! Thankfully we went during the week and it was not too busy. We were quickly seated and the service was great. While the menu is not too varied, it was certainly sufficient for us (including a... More

After our property manager's glowing review, we had to give Fishermans Corner a try. We knew it had to be good after attempting to make reservations on Valentine's Day only to find out they were totally booked. We found a wide selection of inventive items on the menu and were delighted with our selections. Our waiter was helpful and attentive.

My wife and I were in Pensacola for a week and had to "get local" regarding restauarants. The self-annointed concierge at our lodging location recommended Fishermans Corner with the caveat to get there early or be prepared for a wait. We arrived for an early dinner (5:00 pm) for our first visit and the place looked deserted. Having lost our... More
