Good food

Good food, good service. My daughter, who is incredibly picky, devoured the baby palomilla steak and rice and said it was great. I had the pan con lechon (pork sandwich) which was also very good. There are definitely other things I want to try there, so I hope to be back.

My husband and I have been coming here since we were dating. Food is always good, staff always friendly. I am hooked on the salsa and chips. I also order for pickup. You can't beat the reasonably priced menu anywhere. Quaint atmosphere. Never a wait time. My husband has used them to cater also and same quality food. People are... More

Living in Pines we have our fair share of Cuban and Mexican restaurants. I would rate this one right in the middle, not the worst but I've had better down the street. This place has been around for quite a while, service is always fast and with a smile. Chips and fresh salsa are always a nice touch as is... More

Service was friendly, our waitress knew her stuff. They serve Mexican and Cuban food (and evidently Poerto Rican too) My Daughter had the pork, wonder taste and season well, with black beens and rice. I had the Mafungo, it was served with large portions of pork cooked low and slow with a beautiful carma lized red crust. The pork was... More

I visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. I was not disappointed! We were immediately shown to a table and given menus. Our waters arrived quickly, as well as the complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa was a little bland to my taste, but I prefer a spicier salsa than most. We had the chicken empanadas for our... We just relocated away from the neighborhood where Don Pepe III is located and ate their on one of our last trips back to our old home. Don Pepe III offers a well-balanced selection of Cuban and Mexican entrees. Over the 20 years we lived their, I've eaten their palomilla steak or the their "Tex Mex tacos (no longer on... More

Great food, fast service and friendly staff. I like the choice between Mexican and Cuban food. The white rice and shrimp were tasty and delicious.

I was a bit aprehensive about going to a combo cuisine restaurant. I think restaurants should stick to one thing and do that right. As I walked up to entrance, it was hard to see inside so I thought it was empty and that worried me too. Once inside I realized the place was very busy and the smells were... More
