Good food, good service. My daughter, who is incredibly picky, devoured the baby palomilla steak and rice and said it was great. I had the pan con lechon (pork sandwich) which was also very good. There are definitely other things I want to try there, so I hope to be back.

I visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. I was not disappointed! We were immediately shown to a table and given menus. Our waters arrived quickly, as well as the complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa was a little bland to my taste, but I prefer a spicier salsa than most. We had the chicken empanadas for our... We just relocated away from the neighborhood where Don Pepe III is located and ate their on one of our last trips back to our old home. Don Pepe III offers a well-balanced selection of Cuban and Mexican entrees. Over the 20 years we lived their, I've eaten their palomilla steak or the their "Tex Mex tacos (no longer on... More

Great food, fast service and friendly staff. I like the choice between Mexican and Cuban food. The white rice and shrimp were tasty and delicious.

I was a bit aprehensive about going to a combo cuisine restaurant. I think restaurants should stick to one thing and do that right. As I walked up to entrance, it was hard to see inside so I thought it was empty and that worried me too. Once inside I realized the place was very busy and the smells were... More

Went with our local family from Pembroke Pines. The menu combines mexican and cuban flavors. We had the Milanesa steak and the others had the super nachos. Jalapeños were really hot. Limited bar and dessert selection, but overall it was a very good dining experience. Love the cubmex menu combination. Staff was very friendly and made us feel at home,... More

We have been going here to this little restaurant for probably 20+ years. We don't dine out much but when we do we usually go here. It is simple Cuban & Mexican food at great prices. The same people have been working there forever. It is very casual and very family oriented. We take out of town guests here and... More
