We drove by this place at lunch time and there was a line out the door so we decided to come back in a few hours. When we did get back we still had a 20 min wait to sit at the bar! But we are on vacation so we had the time to wait. Met some very nice and... more

If you're looking for tablecloths, spacious aisles, and seafood that is stuffed and/or covered in sauce, go elsewhere. If you're looking for real seafood, cooked right, in large portions at great prices, go to Hunt's. I had the shrimp dinner, chose fried vs. grilled, chose cole slaw and fried okra as my two sides, plus it came with 2 hush... more

We love this place. It's been here for a very long time. It looks like a shack from the outside and the inside too. Don't let appearances turn you away. This is what a Florida Seafood House used to look like.... The oysters are from Appalachacola, right down the road. They are very fresh and cold. So good and so... more

We tried several other oyster bars and seafood restaurant while visiting PCB and Hunt's was #1 for us. By all means, try the grits. They are to die for. (Ha-Ha) Yes it is crowded, but we found out that going for weekday lunch was the best opportunity to be seated sooner. It is close seating, but we met some really... more

Hunt's is a local hot spot and always crowded. The oysters were great and the other seafood dishes are delicious as well. The beer is cold. Be prepared for long waits for seating, and once seated, there is little room between chairs and tables to move around. That being said, we wouldn't miss the opportunity to go to Hunt's when... more

We have been to Hunts 2 times this week. I found the reviews on trip advisor and we wanted to try them out. Oh yeah, we hit the jackpot!!! The reviews are right on the spot, The first night my husband had the fried seafood platter and I had the fried shrimp. We both left very happy and full. The... more

We tried Hunt's due to the ratings. I do not think this should be the second best place in all of PCB. It was a hole, which I usually love. The oysters were good, but it is hard to go wrong with raw oysters. Our meal was kind of Red Lobsterish. My meal had a hair in it, which happens...but... more

Hunt's Oyster Bar on Beck Street serves simply the BEST seafood in PCB!!! The Cajun oysters are sinful and their fried shrimp & oysters are to die for. The fried food is prepared to perfection ... you would not even know it was fried. Hunt's is a small, local, hole-in-the-wall type place so go early (before 5) or plan on... more

We visited Hunt's this past Sunday (9-6-09). We were so lucky when we pulled up right at 11:00 AM because their sign says they are normally closed on Sunday and we hadn't called ahead! They were open this Sunday due to the Labor Day holiday. There were four of us and we all ordered a dozen raw oysters each. The... more

Hunt's Oyster Bar is outta this world! We went twice in the week we were in PC. The wait's gonna be LONG (like 45 minutes to an hour and a half), but it's WELL worth it. You can just skip all the pricier places and PC....save your money AND have incredible sea food. I suggest having the seafood platter grilled.... more
