They have a daily lunch special for $7 including tea and tax. Meatloaf on Thursday. Large portion with homemade mashed potatoes (not instant) and peas. We are locals and eat there often. Service is great for the lunch crowd.

My family and I have been to Bayou On The Beach several times and have never been disappointed. The menu is a pretty extensive selection of what I would say is top notch Cajun fare. On this visit I had the crawfish étouffée and it hit the spot! We got a basket of hushpuppies too and man, they were good.... More

Don't let the "dive" look of the restaurant deter you! The shrimp and grits is simply the best! Great seafood with a NOLA flair! A must eat in PCB!

Awesome atmosphere. The whodat shrimp, fried green tomatoes and seafood was amazing. Had to wait about 45 minutes but I would wait 1hour 45 minutes. It was that good.

Great food overall! The wait wasn't that long, even though they were very busy. The fries and Po-Boys were spectacular, and the atmosphere was the highlight of the visit!

We usually eat here 3-4 times while on a week's vacation. The good is consistently that good. The service is consistently slow and inattentive. For some reason, it's ALWAYS hot in there. It is loud, but that's not a huge issue and one we expect. But please, turn the air down!

We were here on a Friday night and waited 30 minutes for a table for 2. We overheard larger parties waiting for almost 2 hours. After being seated for over 10 minutes, our waitress greeted us and took our order. She was very busy with 2 large parties. We ordered Who Dat Shrimp for the appetizer. It's a "Local Favorite".... A frequent traveler told us about the Happy Hour here. From 3 to 6, you get $1.00 PBR's and a Baker's Dozen of the freshest most delicious oysters for $7.99! These oysters were monstrous! You also have to try the Bacon/Pepper jack cheese baked oysters, my mouth is watering just thinking about them. This place was so wonderful we went... More

Heard this place had great food and it was good advice. Although we did not have the HooDat shrimp we did have grilled shrimp and grouper and it was very good. I asked to taste the Hoo Dat sauce to which our server replied it cost $.99 for a taste so we passed on that. Service overall was good. The... More

My boyfriend was looking for a place to have oysters on the half shell. We asked the bartender at holiday inn resort and she told us about this place. It was close enough for us to walk. I had the who dat shrimp which was really tasty. He got his oysters and loved them. He also loved the price because... More
