There's nothing "fancy" about Schooners cuisine; it is simple, fresh and perfect. No sauces cover the unbeatable flavor of truly fresh Grouper sizzled to perfection on the Schooners grill. A platter of fresh Fried Oysters, Hushpuppies and icy cold beer blend perfectly with the salty breeze blowing in off the Gulf.

Good place

Ate here and ordered the blackened shrimp and Mahi Mahi. Not only was the food really good the service was just as good and the key lime pie was delicious. It's not cheap. If you want cheap, go to McDonalds. This is good food.

Me and my husband went to eat dinner here for our anniversary with our 3 year old child!! The hostess was wonderful so sweet and helpful. The waitress was amazing!! Interacted and played with my son where he said he didn't want to leave cuz he was having fun!! No only was the staff amazing but the food was just... More

Server was slow. Food was just ok. Went to the bar later after coming off of the beach and was ignored by both bartenders. Finally the older male bartender acknowledged us after serving people that he knew first. Started to give him our drink order and he walked away mid order and continued to ignore us. These people need to... More

We waited 45 min. at 6 P.M. for a table, then 2 hours inside for a hamburger and some fish. It was very crowded, very loud live music, you couldn't have a conversation. I complained to the manager about the unacceptable long wait and he gave us all the food and drinks for free, after apologizing that the kitchen crashed.... More

We stayed a few doors down and ate here a few times. Great food and atmosphere! Try and sit outside along the beach :-)

We showed up with a party of 24 and they got us all seated within an hour. Food was terrific, staff was fast and friendly and the manager even took the time to check with us. Live music was the reason for going and this night was outstanding. Could use a little better parking situation but all in all would... More

My family traveled to Panama City beach during Spring break. The bar has a fantastic view of the ocean and even had a bunny sand sculpture for Easter. The drinks were great, service was good (the restaurant gets slammed during lunch and dinner). We had onion rings, fish tacos, and the grouper basket ($15). Enjoyed by all.

Friends recommended this restaurant. We had a 45 minute wait to be seated. Once seated we were attended to promptly. Our meals were excellent. We had grilled grouper, crab cakes, jerk chicken and hamburgers. Everyone enjoyed their meals and our server was personable and attentive. We were there for the sunset. They shoot a cannon when the sun sets. Kind... More

A good combination of touristy and local bar crowd. Food is pretty good but not extraordinary. Great rum runners. We got the last table for two before sunset so watching the beach crowd wrap up another day doing nothing is always fun. Great people watching in general since this is the tail end of spring break. BTW, some of the... More
