My wife and I visited for the first time today. We found the atmosphere to be very friendly. We wanted to watch the sunset so we ordered our dinner to go. We could have stayed and enjoyed the atmosphere! It's nice to find a great little restaurant like this that is not a franchise but a real family owned pub.... more

We have lived in Panama City Beach for six years and have given Pappy's 3 chances and each time, it got worse. EVERY German that we know who has eaten there was of the same opinion! My wife is from Germany and I spent several years in Germany. The two sisters who own the dump are, at best, rude and... more

During our vacation in Panama City Beach, FL area we have discovered that most of the restaurants are really run down, in poor shape inside and out. Pappy's German Restaurant was no exception. It is difficult to find. We went to the Marina before and never saw it. This time we mapped it out and knew the location and still... more
