It was my mother's birthday and she suggested the Sea Hut. We used to visit the old Sea Hut on Terra Ceia way back in the day, and always enjoyed it. There were 4 adults and 2 kids. We got a real nice table in the back of the restaurant. Our server - Cher - couldn't of been more helpful... More

A little late with this review (visited in Spring)...enjoyed a wonderful relaxing few hours here having drinks & mid afternoon lunch. Crab cakes & sweet potato wedges were delicious! Our waitress/bartender Debbie, we think, was so attentive to our requests & questions. She made wonderful cocktails, too! What a sweetie!!! Looking forward to returning to this great place!

Crab Soup is great, dressings for salad are amazing. A little pricey and would like more comfortable outside seeting.

I have been to this restaurant quite a few times. It is mainly for elder tourists now days. It used to be better than it is. There are only a few things that are good now days on the menu. There is a lot of stuff that tastes like it could be canned or from a box, as far as... More

This Palmetto classic has been returning to its old roots. Great specials, fantastic seafood and other dishes. Be sure to try the house New England Style Clam Chowder and the crab cakes. They have a sister restaurant in Ellenton that features smokey barbeque so you might find some of that in the daily specials. You cannot go wrong with this... More

This restaurant has a recently revised menu, offering more combinations of seafood and more choices. Salad is excellent with bacon in the dressing. Service is quick!

My wife and I both had the grouper. Me the dinner and she the sandwich. The setting was pleasant, in the mangroves, and the food tasted good. But we both got sick. It was the only meal we had that day and given we both had the same thing are fairly comfortable this was the source.

The first thing that HAS to be said, is don't skip the three crab soup. It is amazing and you will not find it anywhere else. You can have it as one of your sides for an upcharge. Well worth it. A "cup" is actually a cereal size bowl and the "bowl" is a meal in itself. The rest of... More

Fun view watching pelicans feeding only a few feet away. Grouper very good. We ordered without any seasoning. Just lemon and butter. Everything else came out of a can. Even the chowder. Don't recommend even though this place was packed. Locals must be used to this type of food. Old and dark inside. Outside patio was lovely. We won't visit... More

The service was very slow and the margaritas were very sour and undrinkable...the food was overpriced and salty. I would never go back.
