A great place to get some great seafood and sushi. Although we didn't order any sushi, what passed by my table looked great. Service was immediate by a pretty young server named Jenna. Our two dinners and deserts were excellent and reasonable. And this from a Florida native. The only negative I would add, is the sodas are served from... More

Cannot believe this restaurant has been in Palmetto for three years and we just found it. The clams, the sushi, the friendliness of the staff all were great. Will make this a routine stop in our dining out circuit. Also the prices are very reasonable.

we have passed this place numerous times over the past couple of years and failed to stop. Sushi not on the water or Japanise restaurant. Boy were we wrong to not have stopped. Fish is fresh and reasonable in price. An excellent choice for for a neighborhood dinner.

The wide variety of seafood was amazing for such a small place. Intimate, good atmosphere, our waitress was the best. Full bar, plus food for non-seafood eaters. We plan on going back again & again..

We had avoided this place since our last visit over two years ago - but thought we'd stop by for some beer and hot spicy boiled peanuts. It's not a place we drive by - ever, so it was quite a surprise to see a new name on the sign. We cautiously entered and were very pleasantly greeted. The place... More

The ambiance is relaxed, friendly and a bit low rent. The food is well done, unique and they have very very fresh seafood. All of our mains and appetizers were prepared superbly, whether shellfish or fish or sushi or soup or salad. Service was friendly, competent and fairly quick. The prices were surprisingly low all around, about half or 2/3rds... More

I got amberjack. It was fantastic. Edamame appetizers. My 17 year old even loved them. Great value and staff. Their salads are a wonderful difference from normal. Cucumber or tomato salad. Fantastic. Must try. If it were on the water I'd have been in heaven. .

Ok, I'm a long, long time resident of Palmetto, Ellenton, Parrish... so the location didn't bother me, but some folks might stay away from The Clam House because of where it sits. If you are put off, and only want your seafood at some swanky waterfront location, you're most likely going to pay more for lesser seafood. Actually, my barber... More

Ate here last night. Both my wife and I ordered the Grouper fish tacos. Served with yummy pico, lettuce, sour cream and warm tortillads in foil. Fish was cut into strips just big enough to fit into the tortilla. Three pieces were each topped wilt a slice of avocado. Would love to see slices of lime servec with these. Probably... More
