HUGE plate of fried clams, enough to share, Along with 5 different sushi rolls and drinks, a truly fun night. Sat out on the covered patio which is right next to the road so it was a little noisy, but well worth it.

It's not on the water, but that is the only thing this seafood resturaunt lacks. Seriously. This is Florida. There is no reason to settle for seafood that is not local and fresh. The Clam House is the real thing. It has local fish options that you will find no where else. Honestly, the only way to have some of... More

Fresh caught fish, fast service, fun atmosphere. Clam House has an unusually large selection of seafood as well as alternatives. Yummy!

Don't be fooled by outside appearance, The Clam House is the place to eat if you want fresh seafood. We came at 10pm and they stayed open for our group of 6. The fresh fish is fantastic and Larry our waiter did an amazing job. Clam Strips, Mahi Fish Taco's, and Shrimp and Grits are fantastic. If your in the... More

Don't be fooled by the location and outside appearance. The atmosphere is exhilarating, the staff enthusiastic, and the food absolutely wonderful. Only the freshest fish is served here....right off the boat. We tried the unique clam chowder (broth based), the clam strips, the fish wrap (haddock), shrimp & cheese grits, and the best of all....the Thai Fish Platter. Get there... More

I wanted a new seafood place to try and a good friend suggested this. It seems to have very good fresh fish, seafood and clams of course! Fun atmosphere, bar, and sushi and an outdoor dining area. Service was friendly, but I was surprised we were not asked if we wanted refills or checked on more then one time. I... More

We are new to the area and always looking for good sea food. The Clam House is one of the best. We have tried the Thai fry hog fish, the steamed clams, the sushi and the desserts, and they were all exceptional. Would love to have them offer steamed fish. We will be back.

I have lived in the area for 26 years , and close to the clam house since the opening, we have always loved the true local flavors and cuisine offered here. The Thai fry is one of our favorites, but the sushi is just exceptional. We eat at sushi restaurant s in sarasota frequently but the clam house has consistently... More

What a find. We wanted good fish, fresh, not really expensive, clean and where we could walk in wearing shorts. Okay, added bonus - super service. This place is all that. They harvest their own clams - super good. We had clam chowder, fried clams, whole fried (1.6 lbs) Hogfish & they have Sushi. We tried it all. Fantastic! Their... More
