It's in an old but nicely renovated building withe original tin sealing. Food is very good but service is a hit and miss.

We had a very good breakfast with friendly, prompt service. Loved the decor, brick walls, tin ceiling and woodwork. We will eat at Norma Rae's again and hope to try out the lunch menu. A

Usually a wait on Sunday after church, but well worth waiting for. Once seated, the drinks and food are to you fast, hot and delicious. Servers are fun and efficient. Almost hate to give it a good review because it'll generate more people and a longer wait, but to be fair, you have to try it.

My go to breakfast stop! Family owned and operated! Love the historic feel of building. Wide variety on menu for all taste buds! Also amazing lunch location. Always in out in time for my limited lunch time.

Great value and excellent food. Atmosphere is old world but clean and nice. Great selection at better than average prices. Potatoes were delicious and staff very friendly. I would recommend to all and will try lunch next time.

The service is awesome and the food is great. The hash brown casserole is addictive! This is the place where the locals go, a little off the beaten path, but just down the street from the amazing Sutton Park which is a great place for a stroll after lunch.

The food here is great. Service is typically really good, place can be very busy though. I've had to wait up to an hour with a party of 5.

My wife and I were passing through Palmetto over the weekend and were recommended to try Norma Rae's by some folks at the marina we were parked at. We went there for breakfast and it was excellent. Good food, good service and good prices. The building it is in is a really cool old building too.

We have just moved to FL and knew there would be tons of errands to run so a stop here was great. One had breakfast, corn beef hash, that he loved and I had the classic club.....LOVED IT! We had no wait today but got there after breakfast crowd and before lunch so it was perfect. Give this place a... More

Alpine burger.....mushrooms, swiss cheese....heaven! Pancakes very fluffy, portions are generous and fairly priced. Kinda small restaurant but very historic area of Palmetto (circa 1891).
