We have been eating here about 10 years. It is consistently good. They have fantastic service. It gets busy around 7:00 so call ahead for a reservation. Always accommodating and glad to see you. Its a cute old yellow house which is a nice change from strip malls and mega restaurant chains. We have tried for years to find another... More

No need to make the trip to Italy for excellent food! This was our first trip to this restaurant. We were highly impressed with the ambiance of the century-old house....as well as the service & the wonderful food. The Bruschetta was divine...no little baguettes, but rather a 1/2 loaf of italian bread. We sample two of their salad & both... More

This restaurant has been in business for 25+ years (previous name Carmine's) serving consistently fine Italian/Sicilian food. The restaurant is charming and romantic, the food wonderful and fairly priced. Their specialties include veal and pastas and are anything but pedestrian. I have dined here many, many times over the years and never been disappointed - except for the time Carmine... More

We have eaten here a few times and the meals are consistently excellent and authentically Italian. Although a bit on the expensive side, the food and service have always been wonderful. Always happy to return. Note: it's a little bit out of the way and almost hidden on Alt 19, but worth seeking out.

I was not that impressed the last time I went but thought I would go again. And once again, I enjoyed the ambiance of the place but was disappointed in the food. The tables are a bit tight so if you have a loud group beside you, don't expect a quiet romantic night. I ordered the house signature dish "Casa... More

Casa Ludovico remains my top Italian pick in the Palm Harbor area. This place is special and the cuisine is unique in the way it it prepared and presented. It is still the only place I know here, that offers black pasta and when it is combined with crab and clams in a white wine sauce, it is outstanding. The... More

This is a nice restaurant in an old house on Alternate 19. The decor is lovely with white tablecloths and a good atmosphere. The service is excellent. The food was just average and was expensive. I paid $30, including tax and tip for piece of completely unseasoned grilled mahi and sliced grilled zucchini and eggplant along with a glass of... More

Very good choices of non-standard Italian fare but the portions are so big the you get full looking at the plate. Sure you can get a doggie bag but you could get take-out too if you want to warm up food and eat at home. On at least 2 occasions we were initially seated by the bathroom...do we look like... More

Food, drinks and service are all good here. Their one downfall is their parking. They have a small lot on site and use valet service so if you don't like valet you can park in an area they have about a block and a half from the restaurant. You may (or may not) find space there.

I'm a NY'er Italian...I had the veal parmasian and the only complaint was way too much sauce floating on the plate but penne pasta was al dente and delish.. the bread was hard the olive oil to dip the bread needed seasonings..and the regular salad at 6.00 was only green leaf lettuce with one tomato in it (no onions, carrots...
