Great Food

My wife had the lasagna, which they make to order, and I had the Frutti di Mare. The lasagna was good. There was plenty of seafood on the pasta and it had just the right amount of heat in the sauce -- very good. Service was good and the prices are reasonable. The house wine, we chose the Merlot... read more

This restaurant seemed stuck in a time warp, and not in a quirky, vintage Rat Pack way. The dining room was clean but very old fashioned and not particularly comfortable or inviting. The menu was tired and uninspired. I can't remember the last restaurant who actually had an "up charge" for a Ceasar salad, a plating charge for a Birthday... More

My wife and I took our family here to celebrate my brother-in-law and daughter's birthdays. I'll start with the good. The food was tasty, most dishes we ordered were quite good, but we did have to send back one dish because it was described poorly and did not come out as expected. The pizza, in particular was very good. Portion... More

The great restaurant is a bit hidden, and I often forget about it, even though the food is fantastic. Everything taste fresh and the pizza oven makes a perfect crust. Service could improve, and expect the place to be busy on the weekends. This is not a last second decision type of dinner as reservations are highly recommended. Great spot... More

Where do you take your wife on her birthday? We found the place! We both had the specials, pork tenderloin and braised beef, are they were plentiful. Wine list was great and dessert something special. Service was super and the hostess very friendly arriving and leaving. You can't miss by going here. Not cheap, but well worth it

Was our first visit. Had actually planned on going to another restaurant in Tarpon Springs but they were packed so headed south on US 19 and called Positano's (had been wanting to try it for a long time now) and made a reservation. Parking wasn't bad at 5:30p and they offered us two different tables...took the one in the back... More

Went for my boyfriend's birthday and was very excited as we'd eaten there before as part of a group conference. The food was very good, but the ambiance and service were not up to my expectations. The table was not cleared adequately between courses and crumbs from bread were left on the table throughout the meal. Will go back again... More

My group of 5 arrived a little before 7 p.m. Two sat, one of the group had to wait outside because a couple got lost and he waited outside for them. The server ask me if I wanted to make the happy hour before it expired in two minutes. When the other people of my group came in, the server... More

I've lived here 18 years and for some reason or other never stopped here. Today we did for lunch. Best Italian food (except mine) I've ever had except when visiting Italy!! Look forward to our next visit!!

I have been going to Positano's for Italian food since they opened. It has always been absurdly good. We have had their specials all the way down to the ravioli. This is the go-to place for real Italian in this area.
