A wonderful evening

Had an exceptionally good time while sitting outside and enjoying the boat traffic on the inland waterway! Party of four...the meals and drinks were exceptional! The seafood was fresh and perfectly prepared. Fine dining in a casual setting at its best!

Without the view there wouldn't be much upside here. The food is decidedly average. I expected better fish given the location and theme. Vegetables were overcooked and rice was not restaurant quality. Cocktails were overly sweet. Service was okay.

Driving and exploring this past Sunday found me at the Waterway Cafe for a Sunday afternoon bloody Mary. The South Tiki bar was commanded by David who took me by surprise. He greeted me with a smile and served up a well spiced bloody Mary. His two blenders were constantly whirring while mixing frozen Pina coladas and rumrunners one after... More

We always are hunting for a place to sit out for drinks and food near the water. This place did not disappoint. Friendly folks, 2 outside bars on the deck and tables inside and outside. It is much larger than it looks from the outside. Free valet parking so don't be put off by the small parking lot. There I... More

My husband and I love this place. We had our first date here and now go here regularly for our date nights. The conch fritters are delicious.

We went with another couple at 6 pm on a Saturday night (April, just out of high season) and we were seated immediately. It is a huge place where it feels like all the seating is outside, but you're really sitting under apermanent roof. There are multiple bars and different seating areas right on the waterway. Frankly, I was disappointed... More

We went here for a lunch. It is a very nice place on the water. Clean and nice tables. We sat next to the water and the breeze was wonderful. So yes the place is nice. Lunch was pricey for what we ate and it was just Okay food. So if you don't mind paying for a view this is... More

Located right on the intercoastal. You can sit outside and watch the boat traffic pass by. Food was good. Started with conch fritters which were a bit of a disappointment. Just couldn't taste the conch, just a big fried dough ball. I had the seafood gumbo which was delicious with plenty of fresh seafood. My wife had broiled salmon. Quite... More
