After a morning sale on a catamaran, we went to a local restaurant we knew for lunch. However, it was closed and boarded up! Then we remembered Waterway Cafe nearby. We had a great lunch of Caesar Salads with shrimp/chicken. A glass of chardonay topped it off. The food was excellent and the service was great.

Have been here a couple of times recently, including their breakfast-brunch buffet just this past weekend. At peak time, the place was all but empty. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed a great view of the intracoastal. Weather was fabulous and our server was terrific. The buffet had plenty of offerings, some good, some not so good. Most... Went around happy hour based on reviews I'd seen online. Right around 4pm for happy hour and I think that's probably the best time to go if you're looking to have some drinks and not spend a bunch. Happy hour is only outside near the bar and it's self seating, so get yourself a good spot to enjoy the water... More

My wife and I stopped in for dinner after a recommendation from a friend who had eaten here a few days earlier. We sat outside and even on a hot and humid day there were enough fans keeping the patio comfortable. Service was good as was the food. There is a nice view of the drawbridge and the waterway with... Stopped in for a business meeting/lunch with a prospective client. The atmosphere is nice as it is presentable for business purposes and the noise level is tolerable enough so that you are able to speak at a normal level. Service is fast and the food is tasty and fresh. I ate the ahi tuna wrap with sweet potato fries and... More

Waterway is an excellent place to see boats passing through the intracoastal. Food and drinks are average. Outside tiki bar has good food and drink specials for happy hour.

If you are like me and enjoy eating dinner on the water then you must visit. I thought the atmosphere was very old Florida and beautiful. The restaurant is large and offers a great Sunset (Early Bird) menu. The menu has a great variety of seafood. I chose the pasta with shrimp and scallops in a tomato cream sauce. It... More

We googled waterside patio and this came up. Because of all the good reviews we decided to give it a try. Both my husband and I were most impressed with our waiter, Kyle. He was very personable, very good with the customers, pleasant, funny, it was a nice atmosphere. I don't want to comment too much on my meal as... More
