Description: Ironwood Steak and Seafood, at the newly reinvented PGA National Resort & Spa, gives an exciting dimension to the dining experience. Ironwood Steak and Seafood radiates elegance and sophistication. Opening to the lobby and the atmosphere of the iBAR, this contemporary American Steak and Seafood house takes a wonderfully fresh and unexpected approach to classic steaks and local, fresh, Florida seafood. Providing a tantalizing dining experience, executive chef Donald Young presents the highest quality ingredients, steaks and fresh Florida fish offerings on the new menu at Ironwood Steak and Seafood. Notable is the "Tomahawk for Two" - a 32-ounce cross of Wagyu and Black Angus beef, dry-aged for 21 days -- cooked to perfection at 1,200 degrees in a state-of-the-art Vulcan 1200 broiler. The new menu highlights also include locally caught Wahoo, crab-stuffed Maine lobster and a raw bar complete with succulent shellfish and sashimi.Ironwood Steak & Seafood also offers a delightfully delicious and awesomely affordable lunch menu! Enjoy the same quality meals as you would at our dinner but for lower prices. The lunch menu highlights include a Tenderloin sandwich, Panko encrusted grouper sandwich, Beef Au Poivre, and Lobster & Scallop cakes.Ironwood Steak and Seafood boasts one of the most extensive wine lists in South Florida with over 350 top-shelf selections. The centerpiece of the dining room experience is a floor-to-ceiling wine room with over 1,000 bottles of the finest vintages from the world over. With its storied golf history it will also present wines produced by PGA TOUR golf legends Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Ernie Els, Nick Faldo and Luke Donald.Private Dining: The unique design of Ironwood Steak and Seafood features four private dining spaces with room for up to 131 guests. Service was great and made a memorable night for my daughter and myself. It would be great for a night out with my wife on a romantic dining experience the next time I go.

Out for a local evening of enjoyment turned poor very quickly. All four steak dinners were drowned in salt and had to be recooked. Second go round, 1 steak came out raw and the others were tasteless. We are not in the habit of returning food but really pretty inedible and rather exhorbitantly priced even if the meat was edible.... More

Did not eat there this year because last year it was not good. The food was inconsistent, the fish was tough, the filet mignon was ok but everything was overpriced.

I loved the atmosphere here, the bar, the private dining areas, everything. The tomahawk steak was delicious... didn't seem as big as it said in the menu, and probably wouldn't feed two, but it was a great steak all the same. Everything at PGA national is beautiful, the golf (played the Fazio this day) the pool... it's a spectacular view... More

First class service, first class food and a special dining atmosphere. The ceasar salad was just o.k. but the rest of the food was outstanding, especially the rack of lamb and the jumbo shrimp cocktail. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. The dining room was quiet and we loved the piano player. We will return.

Loved the food. Steaks were wonderful. However, everything is a la cart (which is not unusual in high end steak houses) so beware.
