EXCELLENT DINNER

We were staying in the hotel, after a long day of STL Cardinal baseball, the beach, etc....we wanted a nice dinner...but, did not feel like going out. We ate there two years ago. Same bartender. It says a lot about a place win the turnover is low. FOOD WAS great!!!

We had dinner in Verdea and were only one of three groups of people in the whole place. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Our food good but not too inspiring. The restaurant is described as having locally grown produce and all fresh ingredients. It did not seem much different from any other generic hotel restaurant.

This restaurant and wine bar are located inside the Palm Beach Embassy Suites Hotel. The hotel really doesn't push the restaurant which is a shame. Had we not talked with the bartender during the hotel happy hour, we really would have missed this gem. There is an entrance down a long corridor. The bar area is very cool with a... More

Verdea used to be one of my favorite places. It was a gem, albeit somewhat unknown. The menu was always interesting and everything was fantastic, from the food to the service. We discovered on a recent visit that the menu has completely changed and now this is nothing more than your average hotel restaurant. I'll never be back.

I had been looking forward to going back to Verdea Restaurant for almost a year. My husband and I really enjoyed the extensive wine list and the entrees- the last time we were there it was the chef's last day she was moving on to a job in Peurto Rico I believe. The chef we had last night should have... More

My thanks to the Chef, Rodney Martin, for a wonderful meal. His cracked pepper encrusted Beef Tenderloin was outstanding! The beef was excellent, but the most unique and memorable part of the meal was the foie-gras infused cauliflower mash. It is presented as a side, but it is Oh! so much more!…, Rodney’s mash could be a condiment or a... More

We were staying at the attached Embassy Suites and thought since we had an early flight out we would dine in the hotel and head for bed. We made reservations and arrived 10 minutes early. They appeared to be running on a shoestring staff, excellent staff just a tad slow on the service time. I believe they were staffed correctly... More

What a fantastic surprise. The food was excellent and the service the same. Try the chicken with sweet potatoe beignets.

We are experienced travelers and diners, looking for a good meal. We did our research and thought Verdea was worth a try. We were wrong. Our first warning was that Verdea is the hotel restaurant for an Embassy Suites hotel. Not a good sign. We thought about a quick look elsewhere, but we had a reservation so ... The second... More
