My wife and I took some friends from out of town to Charley's as they wanted to have seafood for dinner while looking at the ocean. Even though we were assured that we would be seated near the windows facing the water when we made the reservation a week in advance, that was not the case. Upon arrival we were... More

Had a family outing and can't really complain about anything but the pricing. To have a surf and turf with steak and lobster for $60 isn't out of the realm for the area, but I expect Maine lobster, not "cold water" lobster for this price. Lobster was on the small and tough side but flavor was excellent as was the... More

I'd heard the raves about Charley's so expected more (expectations can be dangerous). The service was, apparently slower than normal, as we waited, after a considerable time for the entries ... We asked and were told "they were very busy tonight" ....Ah, OK ... most restaurants would welcome that problem. Had the caramelized grouper, which was average to say the least.... More

Great lunch spot right on the water. My guests had Ahi salads which they loved. I had to go for the Lobster grilled cheese ...quite tasty but ask for less cheese, it overpowers the lobster. The side of bisque for dipping is quite unique. Don't forget the Sunday brunch mimosa and the key lime pie.

The atmosphere in Charley's is pleasant and quiet so that you can have a conversation and hear your partner. The view is not great but a nice ocean view from across the street. The food is disappointing with seared ahi that was thin and dry and a crab tower that was a bit tasteless. The scallop dish was the best.... More

We had a great dinner two different fish and they were outstanding. Service was excellent, everyone friendly and felt so good being there. The dessert was to die for chocolate cake with fudge and ice cream. Truly favorite place

The restaurant is located in a charming neighborhood with a great view of the water across the road, Their old style, graciously attentive service begins with efficient and friendly valet parking, gratis. The food is excellent and the wait staff is helpful, professional and well trained. The clientele is eclectic and interesting. This was our second visit and I look... More

Good food--I thought the service was much too fast! Good location, within walking distance to The Colony Polo Lounge

Expected an "on the water" restaurant but this is a popular place and although full of people it is not overly noisy and busy.it is located across the road but you can still have a view of the ocean. Lots of serving staff to be attentive. Numerous seafood selections on the menu and several wines to choose from. Chilean sea... More
