This was my first visit to Angel's. My husband lived in this area over 20 years ago and he wanted to return to one of the places he frequently ate at while living there. He only had good things to say about it from the past. I must say it has old time charm about it. It took a little... read more

Milkshakes are worth the wait, and the service, and the hamburgers are good but not that friendly.... or maybe it was just me

Don't go if you are in a hurry but if you're not....you should at least try it. It is Florida's oldest diner and an interesting stop. You can sit at one of a few (I mean a few) tables or at the diner bar. Food is standard greasy spoon with a few notables. Try the specialty shake, great chili cheese... More

They claim to be the oldest diner in Florida. Maybe. I'll take their word for that. I will tell you that I got the fried catfish and my companion, the fried gizzards and both liked our food. It was plentiful and hot. I thought the fries were not hot enough but not an issue to prevent me from eating there... More

Oldest diner in Florida and it certainly is. Good old fashioned milkshakes. Very friendly staff. The baskets come with fries AND onion rings. However be aware, I said patty melt with o,r, and I got all o.r. but when I got the bill $1.50 was added for ALL ONION RINGS. What???? And they were not hot. Fried pickles were good... More

We have a place near the St Johns River and stop in Angel's every time we stay at our place not far from there. Never had a bad meal at Angel's! Takes you back to the years before fast food and a fun place to eat.

We stopped here to experience the oldest "Oldest Diner in Florida". A real time capsule! I really liked the experience and the waitresses were fantastic. We had a hamburger platter and fish and chips. All I can say is it's worth the stop to check this restaurant but don't go expecting great food.

Decided to stop in for the old fashioned "diner" experience. They're holding together a piece of history, but the food was certainly far from the memories of my early years in the 50's. While the waitress was pleasant, our order took almost 1/2 hour to be served (the place was 1/2 full). My "Burger Platter" was served with cold fries... More

I can not tell you how wonderful this little Quaint diner is. The feeling once your inside the dining car, it's like a blast from the past. It's hard to imagine much outside . Lol It's retro at its best! Small town , home, feeling is welcoming. The hostesses are so friendly, we had Kayla is was super. A huge... More

I throughly enjoyed my lunch at Angel's, I had a very good patty melt, perfectly cooked and griddled. I also ordered a side of onion rings. I sat at the counter and got to see them cooking in the kitchen, everything is made fresh. The oinion rings are dipped and battered to order. Service was very good, even got a... More
