I actually ate at this diner as a child (I was too young too remember), so it was a nostalgic visit to the past. The food - well, it's southern ya'll, so it's good and fattening. Lot's of butter on the grits, just like dad used to make them. It's pretty good too. My daughter ordered a 1/2 pound hamburger... More

Fast, friendly service. Keep an open mind as to the "decor" as this is the oldest diner in FL. Fun place and the food was delicious. Had an amazing omelet. Big portions.

Read other reviews and wanted to try. We stopped in for lunch and it was packed so we sat on a stool at the counter, one of the locals quickly told me We could have his table he was ready to leave. There was one cook and one waitress ( who was fantastic) The food was great you have to... More

We had not had breakfast and were driving form Jacksonville to Orlando via state road 17. As we traveled on, there was no good alternative in sight. Finally, around 11, we stumbled on Angel's in Palatka. It's been in business since 1932 (making it Florida's oldest diner) and seat probably 25-30 people inside, with three picnic tables outside. It even... More

The food at Angel's is your typical Diner food. The portions and prices are good as well as the food. My Grandmother ate here as a child with her family. Anytime we are in town visiting a relative, we have to stop here. The owner is great and we are thankful that this place is still standing. It is like... More

We had eaten her before. Good was good but this time we came in was said hello to. We sat down and was told they just closed even though there were people there eating and the door was unlocked and open sign in the window.

A friend and I were attending the theater across the street and ate here because it was close. She had heard the food was good and we both agreed after eating. I tried a house specialty, a black bottom burger, and really liked it. She really liked her pork sandwich and onion rings. Prices and food portions were quite reasonable... More

Angel's is an institution in Palatka. I remember going there as a teenager to get hamburgers at 1am because it was the only place open all night in the little town of Palatka. It's under different management now than back in the 1970s, but they've kept things the same. This is the classic southern diner, serving basic southern food, lots... More

My husband and I stopped at Angels during Palatka's Memorial Day weekend Blue Crab Festival. Angels had a hamburger special for the three day festival. We had wanted to try Angels because it is a Palatka landmark and we heard the food was good. The restaurant is a small dining car. I had a grilled cheese that was a little... More

Angels provides a touch of the past with an ever current taste of a great burger and fries! Wonderful, friendly service. I highly recommend trying this place.
