Stopped by with my XYL on my 80th birthday enroute to the Atlantic Ocean. Second time for me and the first for here. It was packed at noontime so we sat on some shakey stools at the counter. She ordered a burger and I some clams. Both were excellent and plentiful, in fact we had to leave some of the... More

The oldest known diner in Florida. The hamburgers were very good. Hand pattied, not frozen pre-mades. The French Fries were freshly cut with a bit of skin on them. Do not order the chili. It was not very good. The diner is very small. Not a place for claustrophobics. Use a bathroom elsewhere before or after going to the diner.... More

We stopped here on the recommendation of friends who had not visited in years. What had been "quaint" is now just seedy. The inside (and outside) could use both a good cleaning and a total makeover. We ordered breakfast and it was edible - but just barely. Grits were "stick them with a fork" lumpy and the sausage used in... More

I love going out for breakfast and Angels delivered on a classic diner experience. I had a great omelet and home fries, but every thing was good from the French toast and pancakes to the service. They bill themselves as Florida oldest diner, so you can guess the place has a lot of character and is small. It was good... More

Stopped here for breakfast (which they serve all day) and was transported back to the fifties and a "real" diner. Not five star when it comes to ambiance but definitely had comfortable feel, This is a clasic with good food at a fair price..

Okay here you go it's nostalgic and I loved. It's a throw back in time. The prices are really good and the food is great. Now remember you are eating at America's oldest diner YES America's oldest diner and that is cool in it's self. A definite must.

The atmosphere is very cool. It is a great place to go have a Sunday morning breakfast. They have all the classic diner food and you must try the pusalow.

We both had their famous hamburgers... and they were delicious. I had ordered a strawberry shake, and the waitress forgot it. When she remembered, she said no charge, sorry I forgot. Now that's great customer service! The onion rings are fresh cut, hand breaded, and then fried- delicious. This is an old, original, skinny diner- the real thing!

On recent trip to Palatka we stopped at Angel's Diner. We had noticed it was always crowded so we assume the food is good. Some reviews were good and the burgers especially nice in the reviews. The place was packed at 1:30 pm. We sat outside on old dirty picnic tables in the lot under shelters. Our order was taken... More
