Awesome little diner

The atmosphere is very cool. It is a great place to go have a Sunday morning breakfast. They have all the classic diner food and you must try the pusalow.

We both had their famous hamburgers... and they were delicious. I had ordered a strawberry shake, and the waitress forgot it. When she remembered, she said no charge, sorry I forgot. Now that's great customer service! The onion rings are fresh cut, hand breaded, and then fried- delicious. This is an old, original, skinny diner- the real thing!

On recent trip to Palatka we stopped at Angel's Diner. We had noticed it was always crowded so we assume the food is good. Some reviews were good and the burgers especially nice in the reviews. The place was packed at 1:30 pm. We sat outside on old dirty picnic tables in the lot under shelters. Our order was taken... More

Angel's was Est. In 1932. And it reminds me of the 50's & 60's when everyone hung out at the drive in. Yes it takes a little time to get your food cause their busy. Busy means the food is good & everyone wants some. Great Hamburgs, Hot dogs & excellent Milkshakes. If your in the area & want an... More

Foods OK but nothing special. Downtown, handy location with parking. An easy walk to the river. Based on one visit

This was my first visit to Angel's. My husband lived in this area over 20 years ago and he wanted to return to one of the places he frequently ate at while living there. He only had good things to say about it from the past. I must say it has old time charm about it. It took a little... More

Milkshakes are worth the wait, and the service, and the hamburgers are good but not that friendly.... or maybe it was just me

Don't go if you are in a hurry but if you're not....you should at least try it. It is Florida's oldest diner and an interesting stop. You can sit at one of a few (I mean a few) tables or at the diner bar. Food is standard greasy spoon with a few notables. Try the specialty shake, great chili cheese... More

They claim to be the oldest diner in Florida. Maybe. I'll take their word for that. I will tell you that I got the fried catfish and my companion, the fried gizzards and both liked our food. It was plentiful and hot. I thought the fries were not hot enough but not an issue to prevent me from eating there... More

Oldest diner in Florida and it certainly is. Good old fashioned milkshakes. Very friendly staff. The baskets come with fries AND onion rings. However be aware, I said patty melt with o,r, and I got all o.r. but when I got the bill $1.50 was added for ALL ONION RINGS. What???? And they were not hot. Fried pickles were good... More
