Great cheeseburgers! french fries always need to be ordered well done- and good luck with that. We have lunch here at least 2-3 times a month. Set in an old dining car, it is held together with duct tape and linoleum. This place is always busy with locals & people driving through to ST. Augustine. I have a 1/2 #... More

What a great find! had to go deal with comcast 40 minutes away from home on my day off and stumbled across this diner on our way home. Very friendly staff and great diner food. Had the cheeseburger platter which comes with 1/4 lb burger , fries and hand-battered onion rings. Also ordered a chocolate milkshake.. YUMMO! Vanilla ice cream... More

From "one of a kind" hamburgers to fluffy pancakes with crisp bacon to "hand dipped" chocolate milkshakes & curb service, I always enjoy Angel's!

My husband and I went to Palatka Badcock&More to check on a sofa double recliner, because we walked into the one here in ST. Aug. and I fell in love with the color of a couch they had but wanted a double recliner. The store they sent us to was an outlet. My husband is diabetic and needed food, so... More

I actually ate at this diner as a child (I was too young too remember), so it was a nostalgic visit to the past. The food - well, it's southern ya'll, so it's good and fattening. Lot's of butter on the grits, just like dad used to make them. It's pretty good too. My daughter ordered a 1/2 pound hamburger... More

Fast, friendly service. Keep an open mind as to the "decor" as this is the oldest diner in FL. Fun place and the food was delicious. Had an amazing omelet. Big portions.

We had not had breakfast and were driving form Jacksonville to Orlando via state road 17. As we traveled on, there was no good alternative in sight. Finally, around 11, we stumbled on Angel's in Palatka. It's been in business since 1932 (making it Florida's oldest diner) and seat probably 25-30 people inside, with three picnic tables outside. It even... More

The food at Angel's is your typical Diner food. The portions and prices are good as well as the food. My Grandmother ate here as a child with her family. Anytime we are in town visiting a relative, we have to stop here. The owner is great and we are thankful that this place is still standing. It is like... More

We had eaten her before. Good was good but this time we came in was said hello to. We sat down and was told they just closed even though there were people there eating and the door was unlocked and open sign in the window.
