The food at Angel's is your typical Diner food. The portions and prices are good as well as the food. My Grandmother ate here as a child with her family. Anytime we are in town visiting a relative, we have to stop here. The owner is great and we are thankful that this place is still standing. It is like... More

We had eaten her before. Good was good but this time we came in was said hello to. We sat down and was told they just closed even though there were people there eating and the door was unlocked and open sign in the window.

A friend and I were attending the theater across the street and ate here because it was close. She had heard the food was good and we both agreed after eating. I tried a house specialty, a black bottom burger, and really liked it. She really liked her pork sandwich and onion rings. Prices and food portions were quite reasonable... More

Angel's is an institution in Palatka. I remember going there as a teenager to get hamburgers at 1am because it was the only place open all night in the little town of Palatka. It's under different management now than back in the 1970s, but they've kept things the same. This is the classic southern diner, serving basic southern food, lots... More

My husband and I stopped at Angels during Palatka's Memorial Day weekend Blue Crab Festival. Angels had a hamburger special for the three day festival. We had wanted to try Angels because it is a Palatka landmark and we heard the food was good. The restaurant is a small dining car. I had a grilled cheese that was a little... More

Angels provides a touch of the past with an ever current taste of a great burger and fries! Wonderful, friendly service. I highly recommend trying this place.

We stopped by this nostalgic diner for breakfast. It is pretty small, and seats maybe 30 people. It was full when we arrived, but a table quickly opened up and we were seated, ordered and received our drinks, and placed our order. An hour and 20 minutes later, yes, 80 minutes, we were served our food; omelets, hash browns, and... More

We travel a lot on the old US highways in the south instead of the monotonous interstates. A great alternative to I-95 is US 17 from Orange Park south to Deland. This stretch of highway is a relaxed, mostly rural look at the Central Florida landscape BD (before Disney). There are a few quaint little cracker towns such as Crescent... More

We had been to Angels many years ago and loved the burgers and milkshakes and were a bit concerned based on reviews I read. It is run down, and showing its age, but it was clean and there is a certain charm to an old dining car kind of place. We ordered the same burger, fries, onion rings, and milkshakes... More
