If you want (and expect) greasy spoon, this is it. We had milkshakes and bacon cheese fries; yummies to go. Perfect road food. I don't think I'd eat all my meals here, but it's a perfectly acceptable Palatka pit stop. Whipped cream and maraschino cherries on the shakes add that perfect diner touch.

The food is excellent and with such a broad selection there is bound to be something for everyone. The waitresses were awesome! My glass never got less than half full. The atmosphere is charming. It's one of the few places left in the world where it's not only normal but expected to have a conversation with those sitting around you.... More

My husband and I have eaten at Angels many times but after getting food to go from there tonight for dinner I just had to finally write a review for it. Angels Diner is an old traincar that has been converted into a diner. It is rustic but very clean and we always get good service when we dine in.... More

Consult with your physician before taking. Not so clean. Not so fresh. Not so good. Not welcoming to outsiders. Expect whispering and ridicules and different servings and service than locals dining there.

Service great, food average to poor, small place. Could use a good cleaning. Sure seemed like the melted cheese whiz in my husband's omlette was rancid. At the very least chemical-ly. The OJ, while made from concentrate, was very good as our waitress had assured me. Granted, the place is historic; we did see someone pull up outside and "honk... More

One of those places that you just have to go to because it is unique, however, unique does not mean good. The diner was crowded when we got there and we settled into the only available table. After waiting 5 minutes for our table to be cleaned, we waited another 10 minutes for our order to be taken. Another 15... More

Angel's sits right on Highway 17 in Palatka just about a block before you cross the bridge if heading south and has been at the same sight for over 80 years. It has been moved back twice when they widened Highway 17. The breakfast is great and you can't beat their hamburgers and the price is very reasonable. I can't... More
