Always look forward to coming to Ormond Beach, and Hulls is one place we love eating. But, this time we are not sure we will continue. First night here this is the place we had dinner. Ordered the steamed platter with scallops, shrimp, lobster, etc... so over cooked....hush puppies were good. Clam chowder could have used some clams. Okay, thought... More

Fried oysters were big but overcooked and tasteless. Clam Chowder was pasty and the clams were small and rubbery. Salmon was cooked well but had was too much salt on it. Crab gumbo was great and black beans were ok. For the price, try somewhere else, atmosphere is sparse and fitting for the taste of the food.

We have spent winters in the Daytona area for several years but this was our first visit to Hulls. Nothing fancy about the interior, order from the board and take a seat. I ordered crab cake sandwich, fries and fish soup. My husband ordered fish and chips with coleslaw. For me the soup was spicy and hot, I liked it.... More

This place is one of my fiancé's favorite lunch spots so we visit here fairly often. The fish choices that I have selected so far have all been pleasantly fresh. Today I had the grouper for the third time or so, this time prepared blackened. The fish was prepared very well, not too seasoned and also very moist. As fish... More

We stopped in this restaurant because we happened to drive by it after walking around Ormond Beach. We entered from the front (or should I say back) so we realized the need to order from the counter and then take a seat early on. I did not refer to tripadvisor first - had I done so I would not have... More

As we traveled up the coast, hankering for seafood, we passed Hulls but were not quite ready to eat yet. We had a destination farther north and when we got there we asked about a recommendation of a good seafood place. They suggested Hulls and even though we had to back track about 10 miles, we decided to give it... More

The restaurant is not fancy but it is attached to a fish market so the fish is always fresh and they know how to cook it correctly. I use both the market and restaurant. Enjoy it!

Had wonderful oysters for a very reasonable price. They do not serve raw oysters, however offer very lightly steamed which were perfect. Shop looks wonderful, if you have a kitchen, go there!

I advise you to give this place a try. I made my first visit today and had the salmon platter. It was excellent. My wife had fish and chips and reported that it was average. But they do seem to have very fresh seafood - being in Ormond Beach, Florida they are very close to the sea, of course. But... More
