Great little place on A1A North of Ormond. Great Seafood and Fish. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly Staff.

Nothing fancy about Betty's, but that's just fine. You can get your food prepared different ways but I usually get either fried shrimp or full bellied clams (my favorite). These are not the clam strips you normally get. These are whole clams. The breading is not over-bearing like a lot of breaded and fried foods. When you get the dinner... More

We visit the area often. Betty's has moved onto our rotating chain of restaurants in a big way and this is no small feat considering that we are usually staying down in Daytona Beach Shores which is a decent drive. This was our 3rd visit. I went with my favorite--blackened fish sandwich w/onion rings. My oldest son did the same.... More

Having just arrived at Flagler Beach, this was not a bad first place to eat. Food was good. Place was spotless and well maintained. We were there on a Saturday evening and the place was packed. We were seated quickly and service was good. We rank places on "would we go back" and "would we go out of our way... More

I was so excited to eat here because of the reviews. The clam chowder was very thin and under seasoned. The breading on the fried seafood platter was bland and just came off of the fish and scallops. It just wasn't any good. My son's cheese burger was very good though. I was disappointed because I hoped for some good... More

Burgers are in the top tier for the Daytona area. Onion rings are the dry, crispy type. Pretty much, decent food, service, but no bar.

My husband and I always eat at Betty's A1A Cafe with we visit Ormand (about twice a year). I always order the veggie wrap with basal mayonnaise - delicious. The veggies are fresh and crunchy. I also order a side of onion rings - crunch and yummy! My husband loves the fried fish platter with a potato and salad. We... More

We visit the area regularly and had never tried Betty's. What a disappointment. Mediocre at best. Over priced. Fried fish was bad. The clam chowder was watery. Service was slow. I don't know if that was actually Betty walking around, but she was grouchy and never smiled. And I agree with others on here... They will nickel and dime you.... More

I have to say the food was good, but very pricey for the size of meals. We had seafood but for the price you pay id expect larger portions. The other seafood places in town have greater sized portions an taste amazing! Maybe there other meals are larger?

Our first visit to this restaurant was on Father's Day in 2014. We had a bit of a wait, but it seems to be where all the locals go and it was Father's Day. The service was great and the food was even better!
