Great Clam Chowder!

We enjoyed the clam chowder, it was some of the best we had ever had. The service was good and the atmosphere was good.

Yes, that is what we were told as we talked out. Sorry you slipped through the cracks. Not once, not twice, oh not three times but four times. It was absurd. We went one time before and we thought, ok this place is a decent stop. Second time no gas, so no hot food. Ok malfunctions, they happen, still stinks.... More

I ordered a take out of a fish sandwich and sweet potato fries. They told me on the phone it would be 15 minutes. Well it was 45. When I got the food back to my room the bun was sopping wet with liquid from the fish, as were the fries. Horrible food!! The clam chowder was soopy and watery.... More

Great service. Clam chowder and haddock rivals some of the best you can get in New England. Restaurant overlooks the ocean and gets very busy. We went on a Saturday around 4:30 and got right in. When we left about an hour later there was probably a 20-30 minute wait! Lots of options on the menu to satisfy everyone.

The service here is fantastic! The food was very good too. My husband had the fried onion rings and fried shrimp sandwich with dill mayonnaise, he had wished there had been just a bit more mayo on the sandwich and more flavor to the onion rings. I had the grilled shrimp salad and enjoyed it! The krinkle cut veggies were... More

This place was recommended to us by just about everyone, and it was good. However, because of popularity there was an extensive wait both times we visited. The first visit (2 of us) was pleasurable enough, but we ordered grilled entrees and both of us concluded that if it was grilled it wasn't obvious and too similar to baked. Because... More

$15 for 5 very small scallops - about the size of the end of my thumb. Onion rings, that everyone raves about were tasteless and limp. Caesar salad was okay but way too much dressing. Wine was a good deal at $25 for a large bottle. Waitress was a delight, restaurant is a typical noisy family place.

My girlfriend and I are moving down to New Smyrna Beach in June and heard over and over again that we wouldn't find good seafood like New England has.I was born in Salem Mass and I grew up on the North Shore of Mass. Gloucester, Ipswitch, Beverly areas. Then moved to RI as an adult. I grew up with the... More

We have been to Betty's A!A Cafe many times now, and I am from Fall River, MA. As a true New Englander, I know what authentic New England Seafood should taste like. Betty's imports their lobsters from Maine, and their whole belly clams from New England. Their lobster rolls are amazing, done right, on a split top bun that is... More

Hands down the best fried fish anywhere. Lightly breaded and nice and big chunky pieces. No the best customer service but I just get food to go now.
