The place looked interesting. Prices were on the higher side but thats OK if the place delivers. Service was slow, slow slow. Long waits between waiter visits. Food not so hot when delivered. Not at all what I expected.

We have come over to Daytona from London England for Biketoberfest . We have been to Daytona beach many times over the years and done the rounds of the normal eating places . Most of which are average to say the least , then we was talking to another couple from our condo development and they know we are always... More

First a dinner with my husband: He had Grouper with pasta and loved it. The cream sauce on the pasta was delish, but there were a LOT of capers. I had Caprese Chicken with 'smashed' potatoes. In spite of the breading and balsamic drizzle, the chicken was bland. I also had an exotic drink called 'Original Sin' for $8.64. I... More

Visited Ormond Beach for a week and this was the best place we went to (including Daytona area). Even went back the next night after our first visit. The outside area was great. Live music was fantastic both nights, good craft beer and good food. Only issue was our waitress the second night wasn't very good at all, but you... More

My family wanted to have a Bloody Mary and brunch. Well some friends had told me that the Grind had started a bloody Mary bar, Well I had never heard ooh such a thing. I was pleasantly surprised, it was over the top. I mean who has lobster sushi on a bloody Mary or even bread pudding. Needless to say... More

The first two times I drove by this Gastropub I thought it was a coffee shop. Was I ever wrong! The Grind and Tiki bar Kona are a pub not to miss. Excellent food choices. My wife had a wonderful Grouper called Can't Get Enough and my burger was very good. The sweet dreams desert was a fitting ending to... More

Wish we had this here in Ft. Lauderdale! Great concept, super YUM food, fantastic music and ambiance. We had so much FUN- our waiter & waitress was both superb, food was truly delightful, drinks aplenty and Dane rocked it out by the tiki. Great girls night out! Will definitely be back!!

Took my son for his 16th birthday to the Grind. We ordered four different entrees. They were great in accommodating my daughter's wishes. Although it took 2 tries to get the fish right. First time was over spiced and over-cooked. She ordered the blackened mahi-mahi. My son's tuna was amazing! It was also blackened and was a VERY generous portion,... More

My fiance and I are foodies. We love to try local restaurants with some flair to their menu. This place was just that. He had a burger with And egg & some jalapeño cheddar sauce. I had a fig & feta pizza with a basalmic glaze that was refreshing & just great. Loved this little spot that I found on... More

We shared the coconut shrimp appetizer and it did not taste too much like fresh, more like frozen. I had the lobster grilled cheese and sweet potato fries which was delish. The boyfriend had a burger which he was not too impressed with. The service was super slow and there were not that many of us in there.
