I have not in Guavate for a while because the last time I was there the did no honor my 20 people reservation and we have to go to another restaurant. I gave them another try today for lunch. The lunch menu is reasonable $7.99 to $9.99 but their coffee and juices are outrageous. I paid $3.99 for a glass... More

It's not the first time I and my family have been to this restautant but the staff need more training how to treat customers. No customers no business.

The food was very good. It was hot and delicious. The service was a little slow, but it was worth it. There were lots of choices on the menu and the give you free bread as an appetizer.

If you love Puerto Rican food, you gotta check out Guavate! Authentic food, huge portions, delicious sangria! For starters try the alcapurrias de mariscos- root vegetable fritters stuffed with seafood! Also, rellenos de papa - mini potato balls stuffed with seafood, YUM! The pièce de résistance is the stuffed mofongo! You can get it stuffed with any kind of meat... More

This is the only place I know that does not have a kid's menu. I had to order a full adult meal for my 5 year old and not only that, I was charged around $3.00 for a cup of milk. This is definetly not family oriented, the food was ok but there are better places nearby.

Guavate is a region in the mountains of Puerto Rico, where you will find mile after mile of lechoneras. Lechoneras are akin to southern BBQ joints. But what you will experience is true Puerto Rican roasted pork that is so delicious even Anthony Bourdain and George Zimmer agree, it is the best pork ever. In the Waterford Lakes area just... More

I love Puerto Rican food and have enjoyed the food from the island every time I visited. I have been looking for "good" Puerto Rican food here in the Orlando area and have read quite a few excellent reviews about this place and made a special trip (45 min. drive) to go. It was good food, but not the best... More

I've been coming to this place for the past 3 years but over the last year have not been able to get down here as much as I would like (I live near Ssnford). I really loved this place so much I would bring family and friends that would visit. They all loved it and always tell me when they... More

The menu is very extensive, authentic Puerto Rican food. Portions are plentiful. I had a mofongo relleno con carrucho(stuffed mofongo with conch meat) and it was delicious. Saved half for the next day.
