I would go back to the Blue Zoo

Excellent service and help with the wine pairing. Dinner was excellent but the blueberry dessert was over the top. Don't miss it.

Monday night: Ate in the bar area: amazing scallops and shrimp appetizers, innovative and perfectly crafted cocktails outstanding service. Restaurant was extremely busy! Wed night (2 days later): so good Monday cancelled revervation at Norman's and made a reservation for the main dining room. Service was extremely slow, had to send back the cocktail (same one as Monday) because it... More

Had drinks and tapas in the lounge. Fish and Chips were out if this world. Great sauce and vinegar pickles were a nice compliment. Crab nachos were also very good huge chunks of crab. Great Service and atmosphere too. Going back tonight for dinner

Reservations required. We were assigned very comfortable seats next to a pillar. Our waitress, Jesse was courteous. My son and daughter-in-law each ordered the Rib eye steak, which came to order. I ordered the Mero, and my husband ordered the Blackened Ahu Tuna. The portions were sufficient and tasty. We also ordered a cocktail recommended by our waitress Jesse, the... More

We arrived in Orlando to stay at Disney's Yacht Club. I have been to Todd English's restaurant before and wanted to go back. We were not in the mood for a big dinner, just appetizers so we sat at the bar. The service at the bar was excellent. I ordered the pork belly which was crispy on the outside and... More

We had a group and started with a selection platter, which included a jumbo shrimp and scallop for each, as well as a lobster tail, oysters, clams etc. The shrimp and scallop were excellent, however, I did find the clams overly "fishy" tasting. The "simply fish" was perfectly prepared along with a light, mixed salad. The waiter was very good,... More

Stayed at the Disney Dolphin (great and inexpensive for a Disney resort- awesome access to the parks)... With my 10 year old son- and wanted a nice meal- we actually ate here twice- The first night seated in the dining area we caught some looks from other patrons as if I shouldn't have a child there (who was quiet and... The clam chowder, which I usually love, tasted synthetic - it was completely homogenised with the addition of a couple of clams in shells. I suspect the chowder was out of a tin (and if not it certainly tasted as if it were) and the clams added at the end to make it appear authentic. The chef's special, a scallop... More

Drinks, food, service, atmosphere - Blue Zoo was outstanding at every turn. The smoking red sangria is chilled using liquid nitrogen - sure, it's a gimmick, but the sangria was delicious (and had a great presentation thanks to the smoking effect). The seared scallop appetizer was the most perfectly cooked scallop we had ever eaten. The simply fish selection that... More
