Loved the School Bread. Not too sweet, like most theme park treats. We loved the patio seating because it is mostly covered, and stone so it was cool and shaded.
How many of these things can I eat? More than I should, but less than I want to. Schoolbread and cloudberry horns are great, though the lingonberry ones were a little better. Haven't tried the mousse domes yet, but will soon.
We used our meal plan snacks here to get pastries. The pastries were okay, nothing special. The shop itself is pretty tiny, and seating is around back, outside. It is covered, but be aware on a cold day!
Stopped here for lunch one day. Really enjoyed the club sandwich, even though I hate mayo. The cast member assured me i wouldn't be able to taste it, they don't make substitutions . She was right, it was good, nice and hot and on yummy bread. The kids meals were good too and they enjoyed worms and dirt for dessert.... More
So, I'd been hearing all this talk amongst the Disney World fan base about this thing called "school bread." Apparently, it was a tasty treat that you could only get at the bakery in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot. Well, on our recent Disney trip, it was on my to-do list. My expectations were high. Fortunately, I was not let... More
went with my two kids, my brother and my niece. The kids all had the sweet pretzels which they raved about and moaned about them every time they were hungry for a snack after that. I had the School Bread and it was delightful! It has a nice light cardamom taste, a delicate texture and a delicious vanilla custard filling.... More
We stopped by one afternoon just for snacks and I have to say they were great. My husband got the cream filled horn and, because of the reviews, I tried the school bread. After my first bite I was very disappointed after the second bite I got to the creamy middle and I was in heaven. I have been craving... More
This was for me, the best sandwich shop in Disney! Better than another well known sandwich shop in Downtown Disney! Set in a lovely little area in Norway (with plenty of seating out back), Epcot I was unsure at first, but have to say, the beef sandwich I had was outstanding! Well over an inch of thick roast beef! A... More
This place is phenomenal! I have been to Disney many times but only recently discovered the deliciousness that is Kringla. The sandwiches were large and very reasonably priced but the desserts are what will keep you coming back. The school bread is delectable and the Rullekake is to die for! A must try for all!
