It was OK

I was hoping that Chef Mickey's was all I had heard it was. The staff was very good...food was just OK, for the money you're paying. My son got to meet and take pictures with all of the characters there. Only thing I wish they would tell you is that the characters rotate their locations so as... read more

Love love loved this place. This was the only character greet that did not rush u AT ALL! The characters took time allowing for photos (multiple) and autographs. I found the character meet/greets at other restaurants were all rushed and took little time for pictures. Not here. We actually missed a character's signature snd a worker tracked Goofy down and... We had dinner our first night at Chef Mickeys. The characters were just leaving our section as we sat down and did not return during the entire meal. When we received the bill, we asked the server to find the characters as our 3 and 4 year olds were very upset not to see the promised characters. Eventually Donald and... More

This experience is all about the characters. Then there is also a dessert. But you are going to pay at least $100 for a party of 3. But then it's worth it because they make sure that you get to spend a decent amount of time to catch your pictures and chat with the characters. We saw Pluto, Minnie, Mickey,... More

While no one will ever consider Chef Mickey's as a 5 star eatery, it was once again a very enjoyable experience with good food. Of course the interaction with the characters is for children of all ages, it has to be accompanied by good food and it was. My personal favourites were the strip loin and the lobster mac and... We surprised the kids with a trip to Disney (2 boys, ages 7 and 10). Fortunately, I was able to secure a reservation to Chef Mickey's for our first night of vacation! My thought was that this would really (really) drive the Disney magic home for them. After reading the reviews, I didn't have the highest of expectations. I was... More

Expensive for breakfast per person ($39+) but worth it for the little one's experience. Buffet breakfast, all good foods - wait til further down the line for sliced ham, as well as sausage, hash and eggs. Five characters came out (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto) and interacted with people at each table. Definitely do at least once. Easy to... More

This is a fantastic place, the best one we tried in Disney, I am vegetarian but the food selection was fantastic. The sushi was great too and a great selection of deserts. Characters were plentiful too. We will be back next year!
