Getting a bit dated!!

This was my family's tenth trip to WDW spanning nearly 40 years. We have dined at Chef Mickey's probably at least 5 times - and first our children and then our grand children have enjoyed it every single time. The restaurant is however getting a little dated. My husband, 2 daughters and I had dinner at Chef Mickey's. Meals are buffet style. The food wasn't bad, but just okay. I was a bit disappointed for the price you pay for this meal. Not sure if I'd go back again. If I did, maybe for breakfast. I just didn't think it was worth it.

They have a excellent assorted buffet for breakfast that can satisfy any taste and all in a lovely place. The characters are very patient and creative by the time of the pictures that are taken as they visit table after table. Since the Contemporary Resort, where the restaurant is located, has a private monorail station, that is an great place... More

My wife and I are not buffet people. As a matter of fact I would even place a Golden Corral on a higher tier than this. First the place is dirty and outdated. Second it's overpriced. Thank goodness we had the meal plan because our single plate experience there was no where near worth the $100 they charged our plan.... More

Mickey would be ashamed to have his name associated with this restaurant. The data Decour and terrible lighting do not help this restaurant which features or standard camp-quality food. This hotel is not one of the bargain-basement choices of Disney and the food should not be so low brow. Nothing taste fresh and it all seems to be coming out... More

The buffet here literally can make me vomit just thinking about it. Yes the characters are there, but the interactions are really rushed. This is a once and done.

Have eaten at Chef Mickeys a few times now and it has always been fun. The food is only slightly above average for a buffet and nothing special. Service has always been very good. Characters and entertainment are excellent - that is what you are really paying for. Deserts are also excellent and the location can't be beat. Lot's of... More

nice range of food, eat as much as you like, get your picture taken with mickey & pals. Atmosphere a bit like a canteen, but great if you have smaller kids where theyre well catered for.

It was impossible to secure a lunch or dinner reservation (started looking about 3 months out) but did find a breakfast reservation that was perfectly timed to get us in Magic Kingdom around opening time. A little pricey, but so are all the other character meals. This had an excellent spread for their breakfast buffet. It had just about everything... More
