What a great time we had at Chef Mickeys. The food was amazing, and they customize to allergies, which makes dining out easy. Try the parmasean mashed potatoes. The service was great and so were the characters. When we go back this is a place we will for sure be eating at again. more
My mom has taken me to Chef Mickey's almost every year since I was two, I loved every minute of it, up until my family and I's last visit on 06/10/09. It seemed as if they down graded to a cheaper version of buffet food since my last visit three years ago. They used to have this to die for... more
My husband, 6-year old daughter and I ate at Chef Mickey's for dinner at the end of our week at Disney. The food was really good and we were happy with the variety. My daughter was very tired of the same kids' chicken nuggets she ate all over WDW. She ate more here than any other restaurant. The salad was... more
This was a good breakfast buffet. My favorite dish here was the pancakes. The pineapple juice was yummy too. It was my son's birthday so a nice treat to get a cupcake with candles and a birthday son. Goofy, Mickey, Minnie and Donald came to visit-it took longer than the otehr restaurants but a good time. Service was okay-as the... more
Booked reservations well in advance of our Aug 2008 holiday as we had read how popular this place is. We arrived half hour early on the off chance of being seated and it paid off. We were given beepers and told to wait in a side bit with large windows overlooking the resort, but were beeped within minutes. What can... more
My husband and I took our seven children to Chef Mickey's for dinner and it was GREAT! The food was very good and the characters were amazing. The kids loved the fact that the characters came right over to the table and were more than willing to take pictures and sign autographs. We even took a very nice family photo.... more
Disney offers numerous character meals to go to. And if you are thinking of going to one try something other than this. My family's experience was something akin to a bad Waffle House with characters. The characters were a little hurried, in true Disney fashion, but we did get all of their pictures and autographs. The issues were the awful... more
Chef Mickey's was our first character dining experience and it was a great one. We went for breakfast. Our reservation was for 11:25 and I was afraid we would be left with slim pickings but they had plenty of everything. They kept bringing it out so everything was fresh and hot with lots to choose from. They had everything from... more
We decided to go with Chef Mickeys as they are the orginal characters and our boys were a bit older- 10 & 11.I booked it four months in advance orginally to do the dinner but the only times left were 9pm which we didn't want to commit to, so decided on the breakfast as a last hurray on the final... more
