Better than Expected

We were fortunate enough to sit in a booth that faced out so we could enjoy the view of the rotating restaurant. The characters came to our table a couple of times and spent a few minutes with us. I've been going here since I was a kid and I still love it. The food is always good and it's a good place to see characters, especially Mickey. Service has always been fantastic, as well.

For my son's first visit to Disney World, we figured seeing the characters would be the highlight for him as a 3 year old. As such, getting to meet them while dining and avoiding a long line would be ideal. This was true, and having Chip,Dale, Mickey, and Pluto stop by for autographs and pictures was convenient. However, the food... More

Booked here for the character dinner buffet. The characters are the clear highlight and spent plenty of time with my four year old. That's where the positives end. The `buffet` is in fact just a plate of various dry meats and potato to share between the whole table. Such poor quality, dry and reheated. Vegetarian option was an overcooked stuffed... More

The food at the Garden Grill was good, but not amazing. It is a character dinner and Chip and Dale, Mickey and Pluto come to your table. The restaurant spins to change your view throughout your dinner. The food comes on platters, family style to your table and you can eat as much as you want. We thought this was... More

My husband, kids (13, 11), and I went to the Garden Grill for the character dinner. Food was amazingly fresh. It comes to the table as family style and you can order as much as you like (even dessert!). We thought since the restaurant revolves and faces the Living with the Land ride, the atmosphere would be great. However, the... More

The food here was so fresh. I am not a big seafood eater and I ate the Tilapia here...it was wonderful. It is served family style so you can try everything. There were choices of beef, turkey, and fish. We started with Salad and bread (this was good too). I had eaten here before and didn't think the food was... More

The food we had was good. It was served family style, for good or bad (good because it arrives fast, but I awkward feel like too much food goes to waste). I liked the salad, steak and sauce, the rolls with honey butter, and the cupcake cones for dessert. I was disappointed with the offerings for the kids. The kids... More
