Food ok not great and the movies replayed

This was one of the kids favorite but I couldn't understand why. The food was average and the short films and atmosphere was cool but the movies started playing over agian after a while. I was very impressed by this dining experience. I did not expect it to be great because I thought the menu looked like a pretty standard American diner, and the hostess wasn't very friendly when we arrived. We had a late reservation and still had to wait a few minutes before we were seated even though the whole place was... More

The Sci-Fi Cafe at Disney's Hollywood Studios has a unique atmosphere. Made to resemble an old fashioned drive in theater, each table is a "car" that seats two people to a seat (2 seats per car). The theater mostly plays trailers of "B" films from the 1950s/1960s interspersed with a "full length" cartoon short (5 min). The atmosphere is unique... More

You have to eat at this place during your stay at Disney World just for the uniqueness of the venue alone. You are whisked in to a drive-in theater under the stars. You eat in a little retro car. It is so fun. You watch B movie clips from the 1950s and 60s. The service was great. My kids had... More

We got reservations for Sci-Fi for my daughter's birthday lunch celebration a week ago. We had visited without a reservation in the fall and the venue combines her three loves--cars, movies and food--so it was a no-brainer. We just waited about 20 minutes to be seated (with our reservation). When we went in, we requested a car with booths after... More

After arriving for our advanced seating reservation 30 minutes late, we had little hope we will still be seated. Much to our surprise they still honored our reservation and sat us within 5 minutes. The service and food were excellent and were much appreciated by the kids who had just spent 1&1/2 hours in line for a ride. They even... More

We were lucky to get in quickly in late afternoon. Kids had a blast sitting in the "car" watching old sci-fi movie clips. Amazing burgers . Fantastic waitress - had great suggestions on food, beverages and how to spend our afternoon at the park. Pricey but what Disney restaurant isn't - we had a great experience at least.

Had a great time here - dark and cool on a hot day, what a nice refreshing break. It's funny that you don't face your party but that is part of the fun of eating in a car. Food was good and plentiful. Milkshakes are awesome and worth the price.

Tried for first time- fun place with good food. appetizer was too small. Hamburgers and sandwiches were good. good service. Fun shows from the 50's were on the screen.

The food was pretty ordinary and our waitress was really grumpy. Whilst she may have been having a bad day, a smile wouldn't go astray! The kids said their milkshake was excellent but our food was dismal for the price. The atmosphere was really fun. The clips shown were fun and the cars were pretty cool to sit in. If... More
