A Fun Experience But the Food Isn't Anything Special

Like the "Be Our Guest" restaurant in the Magic Kingdom, I always take my friends to the Sci-Fi Dine-In theater when we go to Hollywood Studios. It has to be experienced at least once, especially for my mom and our older friends who remember what the drive-ins were like in the 50's and 60's. The... read more

After running around in crowded parks, the Sci-fi Dine-in Theatre offers some respite...IF you can get in. This is a popular spot, so reservations are a must. Once in, you're seated in a 'car' with a narrow table, facing a drive in movie screen. Strangely, if there's 4 in your party, 2 sit in front, 2 in back but all... More

Since I was a little kid, My mom made it a Disney ritual to bring me here every time we were in Disney. Now, in my late 20s, I returned with my significant other. Food was good. His milkshake was a bit too thick but he still enjoyed it. His steak (get the blue cheese butter on the side) was... More

We have gone here every year we go to Disney. It is always so fun watching a movie while eating! Every year we go back to Disney and say " maybe we will skip it this year", no we wind up going back. If you love old time themed places than this is for you.

Second time experience at the Sci-Fi Drive-in Theater. Food was just okay and service was excellent. The atmosphere is really unique as you dine in replicas of convertible automobiles as drive-in movies and commercials dating back to the 1950's play non-stop on a large theater screen. My 9 year old grand daughter was amused and amazed at how her Memaw... More

My fiancee and I love Hollywood Studios. We usually eat at Downtown Disney or back at the Disney resort, but we stayed at the Studios late that night and got hungry. When we walked around after the rides, we saw the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater and decided to try it out. Since we didn't have reservations, they gave us a pager... More

The decor and ambiance are great. If you are part of a big party don't expect to be able to talk as you won't be facing each other. The menu had a nice selection and while the food was average, it wasn't bad. Our waiter was super friendly and even brought an extra juice box for my kids, something that... More

We live close to Disney World, so we head over every once in a while for a morning at the parks. We decided to try to eat here on a recent Sunday morning although we didn't have reservations. We waited about ten minutes before we were seated. We both had the specialty shake of the day which was chocolate and... More
