Alton Brown recommended it - so we went

My daughter lives in Orlando and has been looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant. Alton Brown recently ate here, and said it was good, so we decided to try it. And he was right, it was excellent. Yesterday afternoon we stopped at Pho 88 for lunch. We have been craving for Pho since staying in Florida and had been searching the Internet for a Pho restaurant that could compare with the Four Seasons in Cranston, RI. Well we think we have found it. We both had Pho, chicken rice noodle and vegetarian. They were delicious. Prices were... More

Pho 88 was delicious. Portions were a healthy size so think of sharing. Every dish was delish. The menu was easy to understand and there are plenty of choices. I never had Vietnamese food before and this was a great experience. The decor needs updating but don't judge a book by its cover. Enjoy!

Stopped in for a solo late lunch before checking into my hotel based on a friend's recommendation. Sooooo glad I did! Ordered way too much, but definitely a place I'll go back with friends to share! I told the guy who sat me that it was my first time. Without hesitation he highlighted the pho, specifically the eye of round... More

My favorite Pho restaurant in Orlando. The pho is delicious as are the spring rolls and entrees. Good beer and dessert selection as well. Two thumbs up!

The night we went, it was super busy. The waiter had a hard time juggling the huge party taking up the entire middle of the restaurant and the rest of the tables so much that it took about 20 minutes to get a refill on water. However, the servers were knowledgeable about the menu, and the food was delicious. Would... More

As I walked into this downtown Orlando restaurant it looked, indeed, very authentic, as if it was beamed up directly from Vietnam - seriously, it reminded me many similar joints I visited while traveling in Vietnam. On the bright side, the food was quite good, very generous portions, among which I should definitely recommend the papaya salad, which was unique... More

Very disappointed! The place was crowded, so I assumed it must be good. I'm familiar w Vietnamese dishes having traveled to places like Hawaii, & also in Orlando. got my Bbq chicken dish & at first look I could see was this was not the best quality part of the chicken... It was pink in color, but I know the... More

This is a great place to have genuine Pho with the freshest basil and bean sprouts - hardy portions too. We were tired of eating the usual fare at Universal and wanted some fresh food and this is the place for it. The summer rolls were fresh - with a different twist - the inside of the roll was made... Only had the pho, but it was tasty. Service was fine. Seemed clean, plenty of window seating. Overall it was good and I'd return.
