Let's face it...There are many restaurants at Disney that we book for the experience rather than the culinary prowess. As a parent of a little person, I accept this fact. Sadly, Akershus fails to deliver even a mediocre experience. The princesses at Cinderella's Royal Table were top-notch; they expertly looked and acted the part. In Norway they were poor replicas;... Well my visit here exceeded my expectations!! We had a disney dining plan and lets just say this was picked purely for experience reasons. I did not not fancy the sound of the menu at all but we wanted somewhere special for my daughter after her visit to bibbity boutique We were taken inside shortly before our reservation to pose... I didn't think that I was going to like the food in Norway, but Oh my gosh it was good. I enjoyed the food here a lot and the fancy Godiva chocolate drinks with the strawberry was to die for. I highly suggest checking this place out!

If you have a little girl this is the place. The food is good but your not there for that. You go for your daughter to experience the princesses and speak for a minute or two with them. Once you see her smile you seem to forget about everything else. That's why your there. Just go.

My husband and I had never had Norwegian food so I made a reservation here. We had no idea there would be Princesses! The princess parade was fun to watch the kids with big smiles. If you have your own princess, I recommend this, she will love being with all the Disney princesses. Our dinner was outstanding! I had the... More

This is well worth a visit and the best character meal we have visited at any park. The food is absolutely delicious! The starters include a buffet if meats, cheeses, deli items etc and then a choice of appetiser. All extremely tasty! Dessert was amazing! Expensive but well worth the money. Our six year old had a fabulous time and... More

I planned a lst minute trip to Disney and was trying to get into a character experience meal fairly last minute. My only choice was breakfast at Akershus Hall but it was so good, we went back 2 days late for a second experience. It's not cheap, but we had the Disney Dining Plan which unlike other character experiences, was... More

Welcomed by Princess Belle with a complimentary photograph and a lovely meal began. The buffet of starters were tradition Norwegian foods and then a choice of main meals. Family style deserts at end just completed a nice experience. Princesses visited table during the meal. Staff great.

We went for a princess lunch which included all you care to eat koldtboard (salad bar plus some traditional Norwegian fare) and an entree of your choosing. We received a photo with Belle and the other princesses each visited our table for pictures and autographs. The food was good but I am not sure I would make a repeat visit.... More
