Good food, but not "comfortable"

I really like the food here, the hamburger is excellent. There is something about the atmosphere that puts me off a bit. I like formal restaurants, but this place feels a little "superior." It may have to do with the formal environment, but I've been to the Ritz and Four Seasons -- this place... read more

Had a superb 10oz. ribeye. Ordered it medium and it was done to perfection. No A-1 Sauce needed here! Wait staff is very knowledgeable and professional. Service was prompt and efficient.

Very good food from salads to steaks, as well as some Mexican delights. We enjoyed the ribs, new chicken dish 'Aztec chicken, I think' and the nutty cheesy salad. All were delicious. Great staff and nice atmosphere for casual or business lunches or dinners.

Nice quiet restaurant for happy hour or dinner. Good mix of items. I had a salad with grilled salmon on top. Good service.

My husband and I were here for dinner. We both ordered steaks (sirloin and filet). They both came out just right, and the waitress asked us to check before she left the table to be sure we were happy with how they were cooked. The steak came with a huge portion of red mashed potatoes that were very good. The... More

Food and decor is really comfortable, nice menu selection. Servers are prompt and some are super cute. They just changed the menu took off fish and chips, they were pretty amazing. Maybe they'll come back.

We were a party of 5 - 3 adults, 2 teens. Seated right away. Waitress was attentive and served with a smile. Drinks came promptly. We ordered the onion soup, chicken wings and bruschetta. All were excellent. Burgers, scallops, sea bass and salads were amazing. Fish and scallops were cooked perfectly. Most places over cook them. Everything was served nice... More

Pulled off the I4 for a quick lunch of Burger and fries, service was quicker than expected, and the food was cooked well and most all enjoyable. Nothing special but a little pricey. The atmosphere was good as there were quite a few diners eating.

We visited Sam Snead's in Orlando FL about 1-1/2 hours before closing time. We were warmly greeted, seated promptly, and our servers were describing the specials in a very short time. We had appetizers (flatbread and chips with blue cheese and balsamic) and a meal (scallops). All were plentiful and tasted excellent. The wine selection by the glass was very... More

Bartenders with just the right attention to detail. Had a great meal at the bar, "Mike" runs a tight ship, food is great, perfect stop to dine solo or with group. I'll be back.
