I used to work down the street from this fabulous restaurant and it was a favorite lunch spot for many of the people in the office. This was fantastic because it meant there was always someone to have lunch with at Royal Thai. Needless to say, I had lunch there several times a month for several years. Once I introduced... More

I always try to go to Royal Thai on a day when the Salmon in Red Curry or Pa Naeng. Everyone with whom I have eaten there agrees that it is out of this world.

For some reason it seems like Floridians love their Asian food drowned in salty or sweet sauces that don't resemble the same dishes that you'd expect to find if you're from the Northeast. The waitress at Royal Thai was kind enough to explain the phenomenon when I asked for "Krapow Gai Kai Dow" that she could prepare it "Thai Style"... More

The decor and ambience is good. The food depends on what you picked. The Massaman curry was awesome (you need to like coconut milk). The fish dishes were OK. Judging from the occupancy on a Saturday night, it seems to have fallen in the ranks from what it was a few years ago.

First off I would like to say my wife and I are Thaifood addicts, it is one of our favorite foods and we eat it twice a week. That being said it was a good experience for Orlando which isn't a Thai Food Mecca.

From appetizers to dessert, anything that you choose will be fresh delicious and expertly made. Consistency is their forte along with a menu that is authentic. The whole fried fish entrée is exquisite. The curries are awesome and the fried shrimp appetizer is the crispiest and most tender shrimp that you will ever taste. An overall great restaurant that delivers... More

Great food, great price and excellence service. I have to say; 1st impresión always last.. Did not know anything about the restaurant. The restaurant was so crowded, that I did not find one single parking spot. That catched my attention and I had to park next to the rest. In a vacant lot. Worth to try....

This is the only place we go in Orlando for Thai. We get green curry, yellow curry, pad thai….always always great! The coconut sticky rice dessert is amazing too, when they have it. Don't be fooled by the awful neighborhood it's in….just go!
