My favorite Indian restaurant in Orlando

Okay, this is in Kissimmee but if you're visiting the theme parks then this is very easy to find on 192. The selection was plenty, and my lamb was very well prepared and tasty. The only problem i had was the serving size was not enough to fill my hungry stomach. I'd definitely go back the next time... read more

I liked the appetizer, the food was great. I liked the desert. I had Mushroom Bhaji. It was so very good. Service was good, the prices were ok. We were here once before and it is just as good as I remembered.

I visited this indian cuisine restaurant with expectations of tasty indian style food. Although service was quick and place is ok - from the three things I ordered, I did not find any dish tasteful. Somehow the rice quality used was also not great - sticky, strangely ruffled, seemingly lower quality rice in the bowl. The bread they gave was... More

Not a fancy restaurant; lots of demolition work around it...BUT.. still the best punjabi food you will taste...at a price that is very good. the tikka; the masala, the butter chicken; the aloo parathas; the chilli dishes - they are all consistently wonderful. summary - look past the simple decor and the understated service (they dont push you, but they... Avoid like the plaque, I dont remember sitting on a toilet for so long after visiting here, poor food , shocking service and expensive to boot. It must survive on one time tourist visitors as from my experience and others you'd never go twice. You have been warned..

On way back to Chicago where I can find fantastic Indian food and the New Punjab is as good as any of them. Lovely lamb pasanda and the raisin nan was delicious. Highly recommended but a little difficult to find.

Now I and my partner enjoy curry and Indian food, and have experienced many styles and varied quality of meals..but this must be one of the worse we have experienced , add to that very poor service , filthy restrooms/toilets and expensive tasteless dishes it is just shocking . It may of been surviving on tourists one time visits but... More

New Punjab offered the best dinner I ate during our 9 day trip to Orlando. Place itself isn't anything special. Looking from outside you might even hesitate if it's worth visiting. But we noticed that lot of local Indian people ate there and that was of course a good sign. It was nice that the waitress asked us how spicy... More

Me and my husband ate here twice on our holiday in Orlando this January. The food was very fresh, authentic and had lots of flavour. We both thought that the food was outstanding. The garlic naan bread and chicken pakora were both really good and we liked the fact that you could tell your server how hot or mild you... More

On a recent visit to Disney Orlando we ordered take-away from this restaurant. I had read a review or two that said it was good. It was fabulous. We ordered the Onion Bhajis, chicken vindaloo, beef korma, vegetable and chicken samosas. All was fantastic. The Onion Bhajis were particularly good. One of the highlights or our stay in Orlando.
