Lunch on the lake

The Friday special is all you can eat Pollack and that is what I had. It was prepared perfectly, served hot with great French fries. The cole slaw was not good but who cares. My wife had grilled Tilapia and she enjoyed it very much. The service was excellent however the restaurant could use a... read more

Had a early lunch before Superbowl Sunday. I ordered the Shrimp Mofongo ($13.99) - it was absolutely delicious!! The waiters were professional and attentive to always refill the drinks. The owner even came by to say "Hello" and discussed the new changes. My boyfriend and I had a great time, eating, and enjoying the lake view front. I highly recommend... More

For those that are concerned with high class decor, waiters in tuxedos, and want things like caviar and champagne, this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for above average food in a casual atmosphere and great service, this restaurant certainly can offer these and more. Julie's Waterfront is casual with mica tables, plain restaurant chairs,... More

Julie's has been there for quite awhile - and we have dropped in there almost every time we pass. It is a restaurant on a lake built in traditional Florida style... a bit quaint but all welcoming, open and friendly. I know they have lots of items on the menu, but I am addicted to their jumbo fried shrimp. Maybe... More

From the road, Julie's looks a bit rundown. But the menu and the service deserve a huge thumbs up. Indoor and Outdoor seating. You should try it.

Ok... Yes: it's a little hole in the wall place. Yes: the table tops are giant ceramic tiles - very clever! And yes: sits on a small lake with outside, sort-of outside and inside dining. Lunch and dinner options. Tues and Fri night's are Fish Fry! As another said... Fresh and yummy! And agreeing again... Don't go by the "look"...... More

I almost passed the place by. Don't go by the looks. The grouper wrap is outstanding. They had an all you can eat Alaskan Cod. I'm glad I did the grouper. You can eat outside by the lake or inside. Give it a chance.

We went there for the friend grouper. It turned out to be a disappointment and greasy, though the french fries are some of the best we've ever had. We also had the farmer's omelet with a biscuit. The omelette was very mediocre and had no cheese in it. The biscuit was very tough - it must have been over-microwaved. The... More

The place is seedy inside and out. Dead plants along the walkway. Floor tile used on top of old tables. We had fried tilapia and jumbo shrimp platters. Watery and No taste, indicating the were frozen, then fried. Very greasy. Salad was returned because leaves were brown. Waste of hard earned money. Kathy

On a campy little lake near downtown Orlando lies a DDD restaurant that will please your palate and wallet at the same time! On Tuesday and Friday they serve the best Alaskan Pollack fried in a tempura batter. The fish is not fried till you order it and it comes to your table really hot! All you can eat for... More
