One of the best meals I have ever had, great food, the best service ever , great surroundings. Our server spent time explaining all the dishes and their nuances which was a great help as the menu is eclectic indeed. The food was out if this world, we all had different dishes and tried each others and there wasnt a... More

Jiko is a wonderful, delicious, adventurous experience while at Walt Disney World. The food combines many different flavors and spices to make your palette happy. The bread they bring out at the beginning is wonderful and don't forget to try the spoonful tasting of the day. The wine bar is excellent as well. Our server Simo was wonderful. He was... More

Possibly unfair but if I view as an expensive restaurant outside the Disney bubble I'd say the menu has been thrown together for presentation rather than theme or taste. Service was haphazard and rushed. I'd love to say more but honestly there was nothing memorable whatsoever. They serve food, it was edible, that's about it.

Wow! Never expected a meal like this at Disney- the server suggested the African-style slow- cooked short rib, so I decided to try it (despite the fact that I am not a big meat fan!)- it was delicious!! Fork- tender, full of flavor, served with roasted veggies- yum! Others at the table tried the vegetarian entree, the tenderloin, and the... More

Think of the challenges of running a first rate restaurant in an area dedicated to family entertainment. Jiko succeeds spectacularly! Wonderful African themed food, complimented by South African wines in a first rate atmosphere. There were lots of families, but none of the disruptions you might expect. The staff were extremely professional and experienced. Our server, Dawn, was able to... More

The largest number of south African wines outside of South Africa. A great selection with a very good sommelier that was able to find the wine my wife likes, The restaurant is well decorated with 2 large ovens("jikos") where food is cooked. I feel they have food precooked as it arrived at the table in less than 3 minutes after... More

Jiko was the first restaurant we dined at during our six-day stay in Disney World. It wound up being the best. In fact, I seriously regretted not making another reservation there. After five nights eating mediocre food in other areas of the WDW, the vibrant flavors would have been a welcome reprieve. Things started on an awkward note when an... More

Jiko is like unlike any restaurant at Disney. The food is unique but the setting is what is worth the trip. They have strolling drummers. Don't miss it.
