Jiko was everything I wanted it to be ... and more! The atmosphere, service and food was all excellent. We had a bottle of wine, appetizers, entrees and desserts and it was all worth the price. My party left happy and full. I would recommend trying it even if you're a little nervous about the cuisine because the staff is... More

Okay, this is Disney. So the restaurant has a story and the staff will tell you as you are heading to your table and getting comfortable. You will find yourself in a fine dining atmosphere with a well-appointed bar. The menu balances something resembling an American interpretation of African food with American fine dining. Embrace it and you will be... More

We visited this past Friday. The lodge was unforgettable and we felt like we had just landed on another continent. Dining overlooked the hotel and the wildlife savanna! The hospitality and friendliness was first rate. The wait staff was professional and prompt and also entertaining. But the best part was the food; it was just as expect Awesome!!!! We had... More

What a place – wine bottle ‘trees’ lined our private dining area – everything on the menu is influenced by African cuisine and, boy did it look good! Being VIP’s and all, our troop was lucky enough to be treated to a carefully selected set menu. All six courses were perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. Having the taster menu meant... One of the best at WDW, it is fine dining so it comes at a price but the flavors are exquisite and makes for a wonderful special occasion dinner. Wine selection is extensive. Reservations essential, probably not the best idea for children.

I ate here on my own and had the privilege of sitting at the chef's table. This was a great experience and enabled me to ask the staff their thoughts on the various options as well as obviously watching them do their work. It's a bit pricey but worth it I would say...food was good but not fantastic, service was... More

We wanted to have a special meal out for one of the last nights of our honeymoon whilst in Florida. We read reviews on the best places to eat in Orland and Jiko kept cropping up so we booked it. We knew it was a Disney resort restaurant and also that it was more expensive than the average Orlando diner... More

This was probably one of the fancier places we ate in Disney. Getting here was a bit of a pain as we were staying at the Dolphin and no easy way to get to this restaurant which is in the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We took a cab which added to the cost of the evening. Given that I am not... More
