My wife and I went with my grandparents to this restaurant while visiting near Disney for the week. The food was great, and the service was equally exceptional. The Animal Kingdom Lodge is a must-see in itself, but don't pass up this restaurant. We will be back!

We loved everything about our visit here! We made reservations for my daughters birthday and we were seated immediately. All of our food was delicious! The filet was especially amazing! I also enjoyed the assortment of African wine. They also brought a free sparkler lit, Mickey Mouse shaped sundae for my daughter! Needless to say she was thrilled! The African... More

The food was amazing here!! Portions are small but we didn't care. Apps had the wild boar and taste of Africa. The family loved it. I had the braised short ribs. Husband had the lamb. It was delicious. We are on the deluxe dining plan. Worth every penny! The blend wine is a must!

I booked this restaurant for my husbands birthday months before, since he took me here 10 years ago for our first date. We were staying at another Disney resort and had to take two buses to get here. The food, as always was excellent, but the service was surprisingly not. The server forgot my son's order completely, but did take... More

We almost canceled as this was one of the last meals of the trip and were overdone with eating out. It turned out to be the best meal of the trip. The Monk fish was incredible as was the Salmon and Filet Mignon.

Don't get me wrong, Jiko it's a nice restaurant with an African enviroment very Animal Kingdom like. The food it's ok, but we were expecting Awesome and unique African cuisine. In reality it's quite american tasting. It's about US $40 a plate plus tax and service.

My family is unusual because we live in Florida and have eaten at just about every Disney restaurant--some many times. Because of this, I can say that Jiko is about the best restaurant at Disney World. While it doesn't offer the spectacular views of California Grill, the food is a bit better and the restaurant much more intimate and uncrowded.... More

This restaurant describes itself as fine dining, but the only thing that matches this is the prices. Food was generally ok (no more, no less - but not fine dining). At our meal (reserved well in advance) we were told there was a 15 minute delay. It however took 30 minutes to get us seated and another 30 to get... More

Ate here over the weekend for dinner. The lodge is beautiful, as is the restaurant. The staff was very friendly, and our waitress was fantastic. I had the pork chop, which was delicious but huge, and a friend had the short ribs which were also delicious. We also shared the taste of Africa appetizer which was very good. Great bread... More
