The atmosphere was great, but, the food and service was not that good. There was not anything that we liked, the appetizers, the bread, the dip and the fish. Nothing had a good taste, the fish was rubbery and the server did nothing to appease us. It was evident we did not like the food and he could have cared... More

Returned here after a few months, and was still thoroughly impressed with the food. We started with the taste of africa, and the peri-peri roasted chicken flatbread, and both were delicious. I ordered the pork shank, another in my party ordered the short rib, and another ordered the filet. Everything we ordered was great, as is the wine and beer... More

This was our best meal at WDW and we ate most everywhere. We are adventurous eaters and travelers and really appreciate the focus on South African wines and the unusual variety of food options. Shellie was fabulous and seemed to have an uncanny sense of what we would enjoy from wine to appetizers to desserts. The ambience is warm and... More

The environment of this restaurant is pretty.....could be several places in the world. It's really the food and wine list that makes us come back and look forward to our next meal again and again. I had a grouper in cornmeal and my husband the short ribs. Both were excellent as are the delicious breads and dips that start your... More

We have visited Jiko many times and we are big fans of South African wines and food. However, last night was a disappointment. We were shown to our table by a lovely South African hostess who was delightful, our server was great too both attentive and knowledgeable. Unfortunately the food was so disappointing.. The appetisers were lovely but after a long... More

We were two couples, and this was our first time at Jiko; I had read many of the reviews beforehand. I was probably as attracted by the décor in the photos as I was by the menu, but I was expecting a wonderful experience. I have to say that I was disappointed on several points. First, the décor WAS very... More

Food, service and ambiance was fantastic. I had asparagus soup which was extraordinary followed by the short rib with beautifully prepared vegetables. Their French-pressed coffee was incredible and some of the best I've had in a while. It was truly a memorable experience

We ate here in April 2015 had the bread mix starter followed by the Beef main. Excellent meal, great to hear the servers telling about the dishes and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Not cheap but well worth a visit.
