Fun character experience

The food was much better than I thought it was going to be (based on the reviews I read here), but what you're really paying for is the experience -- and it's awesome. I dragged a hesitant boyfriend to this character meal for dinner and we ended up having so much fun with Pooh, Tigger Eeyore... read more

This was our 2nd time there for breakfast. Our first visit was sensational (May 2011). This visit was terrible and ruined our previous praises! The food was blah and was rarely replenished. The character interaction was the worst part. For an hour, we only saw 2 of the characters. 30 minutes later Piglet finally starts heading our way only to... More

We went to the Crystal Palace for lunch. We had a reservation, but still ended up waiting outside on the benches for almost 30 minutes. The tables are on top of each other, and the place is LOUD! The buffet is also seriously lacking....I couldn't find anything I wanted to eat, so I ate pickles and a brownie. The kids... More

Four picture opportunities with Pooh and friends is not worth the almost $200 it is going to cost a family of four for lunch. The so called carved flank steak was flavorless. Chicken had a funny flavor and the salad bar was average at best. Skip this place and take pictures with Pooh and his friends at Fantasyland it will... More

My family just finished our first vacation to DW and my husband insisted we do Crystal Palace because of my long time love of all things Pooh-related. We went for dinner (the most expensive time for character meals...lesson learned). There are two things to consider when reviewing this restaurant: Food and Experience. Experience First....We met all of Christopher Robin's pal,... More

We just got back from a family vacation to Wlat Disney World & booked The Crystal Palace for a meet & greet with Winnie the Pooh & friends for our 3 year old. This is a buffet lunch so I thought my only food option would be some vegtables or a plain salad. The allergy chef came right over &... More

Very elegant, bright restaurant. A bit noisy. Every character made sure to stop at our table & interact with my daughter. Liked the variety of salads--the roasted beet was my favorite. As far as hot foods go, I'm not much for meat, so I skipped the carving station. I did have some salmon, which was quite good. Desserts: meh. You... More

The food at the Crystal Palace is actually not bad at all. There is good variety and the amount of people in there means it is fairly fresh. However, even for Disney, $41 is too much for this food. Now Disney justifies this by adding 4 characters (Pooh, Tigger, Eyeore, and Piglet) that come through during the meal. Honestly, it... More
