Description: Charley's Steak House has created a unique dining experience unsurpassed in the industry. The restaurant's namesake, Charley Woodsby, co-founder of the Red Lobster chain, was honored by the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association with the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006. After selling Red Lobster to General Mills in 1970, Charley and his son Ron Woodsby developed Talk of the Town Restaurants - the corporate parent to Charley's Steak House. Over the years the Woodsby's have become "beef aficionados" with a steadfast formula for success: feature only Midwest grain-fed USDA Prime & Choice beef, age on-site for 4 to 6 weeks, and have management cut meat daily and season for 30 hours to create distinctive flavor. The steak is then flame-grilled over a 1200° open pit, fueled with a combination of Florida citrus & oak wood. This carefully monitored process provides for quality, tenderness and a tantalizing taste that elevates Charley's to the ultimate steakhouse experience. Since its inception, Charley's Steak House has prided itself on being a traditional steakhouse. But with the rise in number of savvy diners came the need to evolve the definition of 'steakhouse'. Instituting a corporate chef and placing managing chefs at each location, Charley's has advanced into a traditional steakhouse with culinary flair featuring chef-driven appetizers and entrees as well as established menu items.

All the big steakhouse chains are in Orlando, however I like Charley's the best. The service is first class and the Pittsburgh style steak was fantastic. It is a great place to entertain customers will definitely go back.

We had our anniversary dinner at Charley's and our waiter was excellent. We had the filet special which was delicious, the steak was tender and our meal special came with their special salad, which was wonderful, bread that was out of this world and smashed potatoes. This is a very pricey restaurant but most people around us were ordering the... More

We've been fans of Charley's for many years and really miss the location on OBT. However this location is a much nicer restaurant. You'll find the same quality food (minus the salad bar we really enjoyed). While their steaks are wonderful don't be afraid to try the pork chops: two thick chops grilled to perfection. Lauren was a perfect server;... More

Their Kobe Waygu steak on the menu is amazing. Everything on the menu looked amazing, but the Kobe was superb. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was good too. I give it 5 stars every time, I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Orlando area!

Food was fantastic! Our waiter Seth was fabulous. A little pricey but made up for it in service, quality and knowledge of food. It was very refreashing. A keeper. We will be back...and definitely ask for Seth.

Over the past 20 years I have visited the Charley's on the Orange Blossom Trail and without exception, te food and service were beyond top-notch. Because the OBT location is now closed, tonight I took my staff and their guests to the International Dr location for our office Christmas dinner. Again the food was exceptional but the service was simply... More

Looking for a steak house on a recent trip to Orlando, we asked a hotel employee for a recommendation. She replied "Charley's!" So off we went. This was without a doubt one of the best restaurant experiences we have had in a long time. The service is impeccable, perfect ambience and the food is divine. Stone crabs, rib-eye and lobster... Great family place to eat on vacation! Dress up or dress down, dark, elegant great food & service! It's a must for any family gathering or just a romantic evening for two. My favorite part of my dining experience is when the waitress rolled over a cart of different styles and cuts of steaks and explained each one in detail, that... More

The filet I had at Charley's Steak House last night was one of the best steaks I have ever had. The flavor was outstanding and it was cooked perfectly. Service was awesome and the ambiance was incredible. I would highly suggest this restaurant for a business meeting or if you are just craving an awesome steak. Mat, our server, was... More

When in Orlando and you want a great and memorable meal, check out Charley’s Steak House. I ate the T-bone and it was amazing! I could cut it with a fork, and it was done to perfection. The service was top of the line and the waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place.
