THERE IS A NEIGHBORLY GATHERING AT ELLIOTT’S PUBLIC HOUSE IN IVANHOE VILLAGE

Ivanhoe Village may be known for it’s many antique stores and quaint businesses, but a new neighbor has moved in. Well not so new. Brian’s Restaurant was the long standing keeper of where the newly opened Elliot’s Public House now occupies. The Orlando Sentinel Newspaper carried an article which... read more

For many years Brian's was a fixture on Orange Ave. Great omelettes, famous sweet buns. The family sold out in the summer. The restaurant changed owners, name, menu. Change was NOT good. New owner is out of business. Another Orlando landmark gone.

We visited for breakfast. The service was quick and sufficient but we didn't find there to be anything special about this establishment. The prices were good. The food was satisfying. We got eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage gravy. There wasn't anything to go nuts over but it was all satisfying. However, if asked if we'd go back we probably wouldn't... More

This place is frequented by locals for breakfast and a quick, hearty lunch. Everyone talks about the sweet sticky buns (they are moist, sweet, and sticky) but if you don't like something that sweet, opt for the fresh biscuits. Breakfast consists of your classics: eggs benedict, biscuits and gravy, omelets, hash and eggs, steak and eggs, as well as the... More

Delish each time. Get a burrito or breakfast hoagie and split it. Too much for a normal person to eat.

Prompt friendly service. Home style cooking and variety of choices. We have been treated like neighborhood regulars. Omelets are our daughter's favorite. My wife likes their waffles and their sausage biscuits.

Was here for breakfast, sat on the outside patio, it's a small place but the restaurant is clean, the service is EXCELLENT and the food was delicious! I go the Eggs Benedict, the price was right, the eggs were perfectly poached and hollandaise was perfect! We actually returned a second time while we were in Orlando for lunch... and it... More

Look forward to a Sunday brunch at Brian's with my wife once or twice a month. She usually has the pork chops, no spices, because of allergies and eggs... They have outside, front patio service. I have a variety of meals. Sometimes breakfast, sometimes lunch... tight parking, but easy in and out... another Orlando family treasure... Waitresses are very good... More

Perhaps this was one of those bad days that can happen to any restaurant. My husband and I went for breakfast to Brian's attracted by their sign that reads: "Best sweet buns in twon". I am a big fan of bread and sweets, so I order the buns. My husband ordered scrabled eggs. The service was quick and friendly. We... More

... and oh, the sweet rolls! Food is good, service always with a smile. Love having breakfast here than walking around the area.
