We had a reservation, but we were still given a buzzer and had to wait 15 minutes for a table of four. Our waiter was either completely overwhelmed or completely incompetent. We had to flag him down every time he came to our table. He was running around and spent most of the night catering to other tables and/or completely... More

We loved this restaurant! The service, food and live music was incredible. We were a party of 3 (2 adults & 1 child). We had made a reservation using my Disney experience prior to our arrival in Orlando. We ordered the Bongos famous Masitas de Puerco, Bongos Famous Shredded Chicken Breaks and the kids mac&cheese with a shrimp skewer. I... More

This was our second time eating at Bongos. Once again the food was awesome! It was one of our best meals in Orlando. Unfortunately the service was just okay. Both times we visited Bongos we found that the wait staff wasn’t very friendly. I wish they could show a little personality and interest in the customers that they are serving.

Typical Disney tourist trap. Long on cheap glitter (cartoon-ish) and over-the-top Caribbean décor, excruciatingly loud music - we sat upstairs and as far from the band as possible and had to shout to speak with each other. The waiter didn't understand anything said to him, the food was mediocre at best and the drinks were limp. Not for those who... More

It was crazy busy but we were seated straight away. The waiter was excellent and the food arrived quickly and was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

We had an early reservation (4:30 pm) because we were attending the early show of LaNuba. As such, there wasn't any music / band playing that early. We were seated promptly and drink orders were taken. Hard to resist a mojito in the souvenir glass. I ordered the Cuban Trio which featured shredded beef, shredded chicken and cubes of pork... More

Possibly the best restaurant of our trip. The nightlife scene was excellent and is even better with a great mojito. Dinner was delicious. I had the roasted chicken, sweet plantains and 'Cuban caviar' lol. I went with my family but if the wife and I could have had a date night we wouldn't hesitate to come here.

Four months prior to our Disney visit, we made reservations for Bongos. We arrived 10 minutes prior to our reservation and were told that it would be 20 minutes before we were seated. They requested a cell phone number to text us when our table was ready. Part of the text message asked us to install a phone app to... More

We make sure to book this dinning eery time we visit Disney. This time we were seated right next to the dance floor so our girls were able to see the singers and dancers and they loved it. Especially when they had the chance to get up and dance themselves. The food is always phenomenal. My husband who is also... More

This was the first time we tried Bongos and we were very impressed with the food which we had a seafood dish that was outstanding, our appetizer was very good also. The entertainment was alot of fun, we set outside and the music level went up and when we looked inside they were dancing and doing a congo line and... More
