Wide variety of interesting dishes

We enjoyed a dinner buffet at Boma on our recent trip to Orlando. The choice is huge and the chefs are keen to talk about their dishes. Being a buffet it is a great opportunity to take a little of a wide variety and then have more of what you like. Do not overlook the soups, they are great and... read more

not as good as before, the dishes were less interesting and the value was not good, except for the oxtail soup we would have left hungry

Second time staying at AKL so decided to try, food was tasty and a varied choice however I'd rather have a table service meal over at Sanaa any day as is like so many have described a posh canteen that is very busy and noisy the quick service Mara restaurant is quieter and you can get the zebra domes there.... We were staying in the Animal Kingdom lodge hotel and had booked the meal 6 months in advance so was a little disappointed to have to wait 30 mins for our table especially as we had small children with us. The food however was very good and the table service for drinks etc was good. Only complaint would be the... More

Boma offers a very good and reasonable options for Breakfast. I have been here for dinner in the past and wont go into details about that other than saying we were underwhelmed considering the price. However breakfast at Boma is an entirely different experience. Service: Service was very friendly from check in to our waiter. We never had to wait... More

I really enjoyed this restaurant, great variety of food. Stick ribs a must try along with zebra domes. Both extra yummy. Buffett evening all you can eat, a lot of the foods are African inspired dishes and all very yummy - I tried most. 14 types of desert - my daughter tried all of these. Quite expensivewhich is why I... More

Look the food is good . I'm not saying don't go . But someone has to call Disney out on their GREED . Attention Sharon Hays . A person who's spending well over $ 100 for dinner should not have to pay $20 to valet a car . It's just wrong !!!! Management told me I could self park despite... More

I'd like to award 3.5 stars and I would not say that this is very good. The previous reviewer was spot on - this is a large, busy, canteen with table service drinks. The food is interesting- but I fear wasted on many who want 'Mac and cheese' in an 'African' restaurant. I found the flavours more North African than... More

We went to Boma for breakfast and dinner during our stay at AK lodge. Both times we were very impressed by the range of food and attentiveness of staff, however it was extremely expensive for what is essentially a buffet. Our dinner bill was $140 for 2 adults 2 children, our breakfast bill was $80 both not including tip.

I have reviewed Boma once before. But I have now eaten at this buffet four times. Twice for breakfast, and twice for dinner. This review is for my most recent dinner experience. The restaurant is located inside Jambo House at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. The theme and décor of Boma matches the African-inspired theme of the resort. The restaurant features... More
