50's Prime Time Café serves classic American comfort food in a TV-themed setting. The restaurant sits across from Echo Lake in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. The 50's Prime Time Café menu includes family favorites like golden fried chicken, traditional meatloaf and pot roast, cooked the way Mom used to make it—that is, if Mom were a 1950s sitcom star.Be welcomed into Mom's family and feel at home in her kitchenette. But Mom expects you to mind your manners, so don't be surprised if she tells you to keep your elbows off the table. It's all part of the old-fashioned fun and gentle ribbing that's served up along with the food.TV Tables and Tune-In LoungeFor a special treat at 50's Prime Time Café, grab a "TV Table" that seats up to 4 diners and has a television next to the table that broadcasts clips from popular prime time sitcoms circa 1955 including "Father Knows Best" and the original "Mickey Mouse Club."Bop into 50's Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner. Cocktails, wines by the glass and frosty beers are available from Mom for Guests 21 years of age and older, or relax in the Tune-In Lounge full-service bar and sip Dad's Electric Lemonade or Grandma's Picnic Punch. From the mid-50s knick-knacks and memorabilia that decorate this restaurant to the dessert menu displayed through viewfinder toys, nostalgia is the main ingredient at 50's Prime Time Café.

So much fun!

My family ate lunch here on our spring break vacation in March 2015. Everyone loved it, from the grandparents, to the parents, to the kids! It is themed so cool, just like you are back in the 1950's. And the food is great too! Fried chicken is very tasty! The portions are good-sized. You... read more

We took our grandson here for dinner and explained that this is how it was at grandmas back in the day. The whole restaurant is like going back in time at grandmas house. Food was just like home cooking. And service was great. We had "Aunt Racheal" as our waitress. She hollered at me a few times to "get your... More

My daughter is on the Autism Spectrum. We had an ADR but they still made us wait for over 30 minutes for a table and were kind of rude about it but make the comments under the guise of how "Mom" wasn't ready yet. I do understand that you sometimes have to wait, however, you don't have to be condescending... More

The first time I went to Disney World, we ate at this restaurant at least twice, as we loved it so much. And so I was hoping this visit didn't disappoint. And it didn't! Two members of the party had been before and two had not and we all enjoyed this meal. It was one of our favourites of the... More

dining experience at disney are so much fun. This restaurant is modeled after the 1950"s, from the tables, to the jukebox, to the waiter. the waiter & waitress make this expereince a funny and quite memorable one. they scold you if your chewing gum or have your elbows on the table.

This restaurant is great! My mom and I ordered the roast beef, which was tasty, comfort food at its best! We ordered the giant sundae for dessert, which was definitely big enough for all five of us to share! Our waitress was amazing and made this a stand out experience for us. My daughter had lost a pair of Mickey... More

A charming trip into the past that is enjoyable for the whole family. From the olde time tables to the black and white TV's its a great place for atmosphere. The servers are usually sassy especially for the younger children that also adds to the experience. Over the years the food is consistently good , nothing special but tasty and... More

not only was the decor and the food great, but our waiter was soon good. This place is like no other. Waiters are trained to treat you like children, by making you wash your hands, keep your elbows off of the table, but to put away cell phones. If he caught you, you were "punished". I had to rewash my... More

The food that impressed me is the Fried Chicken that imo is better than KFC. Other than that, the theme is what attracted me so I can experience what the 50s life looks like.

Tried this for the first time on the husband and I's anniversary trip. We loved it. The food is so good, it tastes like you're having a home cooked meal. Plus, the waitresses/waiters are super fun! When they come to get you to be seated, they call for the "(Whatever name you placed the reservation under) kids" and then proceed... More
