50's Prime Time Café serves classic American comfort food in a TV-themed setting. The restaurant sits across from Echo Lake in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. The 50's Prime Time Café menu includes family favorites like golden fried chicken, traditional meatloaf and pot roast, cooked the way Mom used to make it—that is, if Mom were a 1950s sitcom star.Be welcomed into Mom's family and feel at home in her kitchenette. But Mom expects you to mind your manners, so don't be surprised if she tells you to keep your elbows off the table. It's all part of the old-fashioned fun and gentle ribbing that's served up along with the food.TV Tables and Tune-In LoungeFor a special treat at 50's Prime Time Café, grab a "TV Table" that seats up to 4 diners and has a television next to the table that broadcasts clips from popular prime time sitcoms circa 1955 including "Father Knows Best" and the original "Mickey Mouse Club."Bop into 50's Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner. Cocktails, wines by the glass and frosty beers are available from Mom for Guests 21 years of age and older, or relax in the Tune-In Lounge full-service bar and sip Dad's Electric Lemonade or Grandma's Picnic Punch. From the mid-50s knick-knacks and memorabilia that decorate this restaurant to the dessert menu displayed through viewfinder toys, nostalgia is the main ingredient at 50's Prime Time Café.

Fun atmosphere and good food

The 50's theming is great and makes the restaurant seem much smaller than it is. The food is better than average for Disney and the service makes it a fun experience. This is one of the funniest places to eat at in Disney World! They have a delicious classic American menu, and the waiters and waitresses are hilarious! They get on to you if you put your elbows on the table or if you don't eat your vegetables! The dessert is delicious too! One of the best places here!

This was our 4th visit over a period of many years and all the of us loved it as much as ever. It's a place where the environment is as good as the food. We all love the 50's décor. Every visit is different, depending on the server you get and the other diners around you and their interaction with... More

Every time we go to WDW we always make a reservation here, no matter what. Not anymore. They've toned down the teasing, which doesn't bother us, but what does is the lonnnnng wait for drinks and mediocre food. Complained about the carrots for one thing (uncooked) and waiter just made a joke about it. If we eat here again we'll... More

This restaurant is different to the other types is Disney. There is a clear focus on the 50's in both food and attitude. The food is good and basic without being world shattering, the service is special and the prices are reasonable and the vegetables appear to be cooked a)with much less salt than in other Disney resorts and b)... We ate here while we were at Hollywood Studios last week. It's a fun place to visit. It is decorated with 50s decor and the waiters and waitresses make you mind your manners. Our waitress, Liza, was fully into it and made sure we were on board before she got into her role. She made sure there were "no crybabies... More

We had dinner here on a recent trip to Hollywood Studios. We were a party of 8 and James was our server. He was FANTASTIC! He absolutely made the meal worth while with his entertainment. The food was also really great. Between the 8 of us we all ordered something different, and everyone had an empty plate when the meal... More
