50's Prime Time Café serves classic American comfort food in a TV-themed setting. The restaurant sits across from Echo Lake in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. The 50's Prime Time Café menu includes family favorites like golden fried chicken, traditional meatloaf and pot roast, cooked the way Mom used to make it—that is, if Mom were a 1950s sitcom star.Be welcomed into Mom's family and feel at home in her kitchenette. But Mom expects you to mind your manners, so don't be surprised if she tells you to keep your elbows off the table. It's all part of the old-fashioned fun and gentle ribbing that's served up along with the food.TV Tables and Tune-In LoungeFor a special treat at 50's Prime Time Café, grab a "TV Table" that seats up to 4 diners and has a television next to the table that broadcasts clips from popular prime time sitcoms circa 1955 including "Father Knows Best" and the original "Mickey Mouse Club."Bop into 50's Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner. Cocktails, wines by the glass and frosty beers are available from Mom for Guests 21 years of age and older, or relax in the Tune-In Lounge full-service bar and sip Dad's Electric Lemonade or Grandma's Picnic Punch. From the mid-50s knick-knacks and memorabilia that decorate this restaurant to the dessert menu displayed through viewfinder toys, nostalgia is the main ingredient at 50's Prime Time Café.

Fun & decent food

My wife & I took our 5yo niece for dinner on our day to Hollywood Studios. I have eaten here many times and have always enjoyed it a lot. This was my wife's and our niece's first time there. We were seated pretty close to our ADR, but it was okay that we were seated a little late as we... read more

We ate dinner at this fun restaurant one evening and loved everything! Food was generously portioned and well-seasoned. It was a hoot to have the waitress tell my granddaughters to put their "toys" (cell phones) up or she was going to make them leave the table. Why don't they do that for me??? Great choice for families.

We had the best server (I mean "cousin"), who was great at treating us like family, Brennan made it a great time and kept up with the jabs and jokes ("keep your elbows off the table"), even brought his other guests into the game. We really enjoyed the old time shows on the TV, the decor, and the food. We... More

The decor is so great here! Really fun and you feel you step back in time. But the food was just awful. The fried chicken was so greasy, slimy. The pork chop was tough and dry and had a strange cheese on it. I will say that the chocolate shake was delicious but that's really hard to mess up. I... More

I was so excited to try this restaurant, mostly for the ambiance and experience that it offered. The decor - very fun and was probably our favorite part. The food - small portions and just ok. If we ever came back it would be just for milkshakes, which were very good. Service - in retrospect I wish I would have... More

The theme here is you are eating at home in the 50's and the wait staff are part of the family. So they improv what that would be like in an entertaining way (think - no elbows on the table, eat all of your veggies, etc.). Food is very good; great service. Expensive but worth it given the food quality... More

Cool theme with 50's style decorations. Food was "home cooked" and very good. Some wait staff have more fun with the customers then ours did. Unfortunately when we advised her that we needed to get moving to make our fast pass, our waitress gave us erroneous information. The staff at the Indiana Jones attraction refused our reciept and we missed... More

50s Prime Time Cafe had amazing food and a great dining experience. You had the amazing feeling that you're going back in time. Even if it was the Old TV shows being played on the old timey tvs or the way the waiters and waitresses spoke acting as if you were their children. When it comes to the food, the... More
