Description: 50's Prime Time Café serves classic American comfort food in a TV-themed setting. The restaurant sits across from Echo Lake in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. The 50's Prime Time Café menu includes family favorites like golden fried chicken, traditional meatloaf and pot roast, cooked the way Mom used to make it—that is, if Mom were a 1950s sitcom star.Be welcomed into Mom's family and feel at home in her kitchenette. But Mom expects you to mind your manners, so don't be surprised if she tells you to keep your elbows off the table. It's all part of the old-fashioned fun and gentle ribbing that's served up along with the food.TV Tables and Tune-In LoungeFor a special treat at 50's Prime Time Café, grab a "TV Table" that seats up to 4 diners and has a television next to the table that broadcasts clips from popular prime time sitcoms circa 1955 including "Father Knows Best" and the original "Mickey Mouse Club."Bop into 50's Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner. Cocktails, wines by the glass and frosty beers are available from Mom for Guests 21 years of age and older, or relax in the Tune-In Lounge full-service bar and sip Dad's Electric Lemonade or Grandma's Picnic Punch. From the mid-50s knick-knacks and memorabilia that decorate this restaurant to the dessert menu displayed through viewfinder toys, nostalgia is the main ingredient at 50's Prime Time Café.

The decor and food is from the 1950's. The prices are not. Cousin Ann's Traditional Meat Loaf which includes a dolop of mashed potatoes and a serving of green beans is $15.99, drink not included. I had the same basic meal at Cracker Barrel one week earlier for $5.99. The Cracker Barrel meatloaf was juicy and tastier but other wise... More

Just returned from 8 days in Walt Disney World. First time to the '50 Prime Time Cafe for my wife, 4 year old daughter, and myself. Really exceeded our expectations, and my only regret is that we had to rush our dinner because we had a long day of travel, and our daughter was exhausted. The service was excellent and... More

This restaurant is not only entertaining but the food is good to. The staff plays the part as if you were in the 50's 60's and 70's and the atmosphere also reflects it. Momma is doing all the cooking and the staff really keeps to the rules no elbows on the table and you need to clean your Plate and... More

Overall a B for this style of food. For the crowds it serves the food is cook welled and tasty. The prices are great for a sit down diner in any Disney resort. If they opened a second Prime Time restaurant right next this one it would also stay fully booked. If they opened this up to a chain I... More

This used to be a must do on every trip for us. The details of the restaurant, down to the menu, are great. However, the servers used to keep with the theming and were much more personable. The menu is still good but we asked for bread and were told they have none. No rolls, biscuits, cornbread or otherwise. The... More

We spent Thanksgiving in Disney's Hollywood Studios, and enjoyed dinner at the 50's Prime Time Cafe. Our cousin was an awesome server, and we had no complaints about the service! It was fun explaining to our daughter how the old-style televisions worked, and enjoying the decor and the atmosphere. My husband and daughter had the thanksgiving blue plate special -... More

Guess this place is more popular for shakes than for food. We had a late lunch at 2.30pm, very crowded but good ambience. Food was ok and the shakes were plenty to have even for one.

What a great restaurant! The decor is straight out of the 50s. When waiting for your table you are in the "living room." When your table is reddy, a host who looks like your grouchy grandfather comes out, yells your name & tells toy dinner is ready. You are then recovered to your table in the "kitchen." The servers are... More

Love this place, told me to clean my plate and the food was the best. The chef and waiters made sure that my wife's meal was glutten free and then to top it off got us passes to the vip light show
