Description: 50's Prime Time Café serves classic American comfort food in a TV-themed setting. The restaurant sits across from Echo Lake in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. The 50's Prime Time Café menu includes family favorites like golden fried chicken, traditional meatloaf and pot roast, cooked the way Mom used to make it—that is, if Mom were a 1950s sitcom star.Be welcomed into Mom's family and feel at home in her kitchenette. But Mom expects you to mind your manners, so don't be surprised if she tells you to keep your elbows off the table. It's all part of the old-fashioned fun and gentle ribbing that's served up along with the food.TV Tables and Tune-In LoungeFor a special treat at 50's Prime Time Café, grab a "TV Table" that seats up to 4 diners and has a television next to the table that broadcasts clips from popular prime time sitcoms circa 1955 including "Father Knows Best" and the original "Mickey Mouse Club."Bop into 50's Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner. Cocktails, wines by the glass and frosty beers are available from Mom for Guests 21 years of age and older, or relax in the Tune-In Lounge full-service bar and sip Dad's Electric Lemonade or Grandma's Picnic Punch. From the mid-50s knick-knacks and memorabilia that decorate this restaurant to the dessert menu displayed through viewfinder toys, nostalgia is the main ingredient at 50's Prime Time Café.

I can't go to Hollywood Studios without going to this place! I was by myself and still had a great time. I love the service with a twist, and each server I've had (and watched around me) are different. The food is always top notch here too- I had the fried chicken plate and it was DELISH! I also recommend... More

My husband, niece and I visited this restaurant in July 2014. Being a Southern California Native, this experience reminded a lot of the Ruby's 50s diners. The food was unique and tasty - I enjoyed everything we ordered. Our favorite part of this experience was our waiter. He played the role of our "cousin" very well and my husband and... More

We came here to dinner while in Disney World! The decor is like stepping in to the 1950 tv shows from the past, in a cool awesome way! The waiters and waitress and staff ( or cast members as they are called) all dress and acted the part! Our waitress came out and said her name was Momma, she told... More

We always enjoy the fun at 50s Prime Time. The food is comfort food extaordinaire! Menu offered everyone's favorites. I am vegetarian & glad they have 2 veg options to choose from. The service is great, very attentive & fun. One of our favorite restaurants on property. Going back in August.

After reading the reviews of this restaurant, I just knew we had to try it. It was as fun as we read. We made reservations a few weeks before we left for Orlando, and when we arrived at the restaurant we saw waitresses coming out of the restaurant yelling out the customer's names like a mom would yell for their... My 13-year old nephew and I ate here last month. Our server was great. Pot roast was a little sketchy, but the pot pie was very good. Always fun to eat here.

The restaurant is adorable and 'if' you get a good cast member, it will be a great experience. The food is good and plentiful, but very heavy. You'll be thankful for a long walk afterwards to walk off all the heavy food. We went for lunch and were stuffed the whole day. I'd recommend this place, but only one time.... More

What a fun place! The food was actually delicious and was served in a very fun way by colorful characters and a great environment. The problem is unless you make reservations months ahead of time you won't get in here because it seems to be one of the most popular restaurants if not the most popular restaurant at Hollywood studios

Ok, so I haven't had GF fried chicken - ever! This was fantastic and on top of that, one in our party hadn't eaten her veggies (my daughter) so the waiter (cousin) fed them to her (she almost gagged, but went along with it). It was hillarious!
