Description: 50's Prime Time Café serves classic American comfort food in a TV-themed setting. The restaurant sits across from Echo Lake in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. The 50's Prime Time Café menu includes family favorites like golden fried chicken, traditional meatloaf and pot roast, cooked the way Mom used to make it—that is, if Mom were a 1950s sitcom star.Be welcomed into Mom's family and feel at home in her kitchenette. But Mom expects you to mind your manners, so don't be surprised if she tells you to keep your elbows off the table. It's all part of the old-fashioned fun and gentle ribbing that's served up along with the food.TV Tables and Tune-In LoungeFor a special treat at 50's Prime Time Café, grab a "TV Table" that seats up to 4 diners and has a television next to the table that broadcasts clips from popular prime time sitcoms circa 1955 including "Father Knows Best" and the original "Mickey Mouse Club."Bop into 50's Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner. Cocktails, wines by the glass and frosty beers are available from Mom for Guests 21 years of age and older, or relax in the Tune-In Lounge full-service bar and sip Dad's Electric Lemonade or Grandma's Picnic Punch. From the mid-50s knick-knacks and memorabilia that decorate this restaurant to the dessert menu displayed through viewfinder toys, nostalgia is the main ingredient at 50's Prime Time Café.

I used to really like this restaurant. Good food. Kitchy atmosphere. This time though it was miserable. My wife and I were crammed into a table for two that was squeezed between two other tables. No more then 6 inches between tables. No way to have any sort of private conversation with strangers on every side. The worst was when... More

This is a great Disney themed restaurant. Memory was our server and she made the dining experience extra special. We dined with friends and had a blast. And the food is really, really good. I had the pot roast which is always delicious and the rest of the family had the fried chicken which is amazing. The fried chicken is... More

We went to 50s Prime Time late before the Anna and Elsa fireworks show - just to have dessert. Cousin Elaine was great. She was so much fun and helped rush us along so the kids could make the fireworks. We had to wait a little while for the table so we didn't have much time but she managed to... More

We have eaten here quite a few times when visiting Disney Studios, but this time YUCK!!!!! The service was average at best and the food was truly barely eatable! I know Disney is not know for dining, but it has been somewhat descent in the past, guess it was an off day/night.

The experience is worth the visit. Add on Mama's Favorites platter and this was a great dinner. I was most concerned if it would be "all that." It is and more. Highly recommended. If you have kids even better. If you are sensitive person and can't take a joke don't go there. No cell phones at the table which is... More

There are some really great things to say about this place, but unfortunately some not so great things to say as well. On the positive, I really love the vibe and décor of '50s Prime Time. This was my first time going, and I really loved the theme of the restaurant. Our server was not really into teasing us like... More

It was my 13th birthday and my family and I went here for lunch. it looks like a 50s home and the waiters treat you like family. Our waiter Joey was very entertaining. He made my day very special. He asked all the people around to sign my birthday card. He gave my dad a clean plate sticker for eating... More

This was our second visit to the 50's Prime Time Cafe and again we were not disappointed. The theaming here is great and the food tastes just like homemade. For an appetizer definitely try the fried cheese, its a breaded and fried round of boursin with a raspberry sauce and it's absolutely to die for. Dining here is a lot... More
