Description: 50's Prime Time Café serves classic American comfort food in a TV-themed setting. The restaurant sits across from Echo Lake in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. The 50's Prime Time Café menu includes family favorites like golden fried chicken, traditional meatloaf and pot roast, cooked the way Mom used to make it—that is, if Mom were a 1950s sitcom star.Be welcomed into Mom's family and feel at home in her kitchenette. But Mom expects you to mind your manners, so don't be surprised if she tells you to keep your elbows off the table. It's all part of the old-fashioned fun and gentle ribbing that's served up along with the food.TV Tables and Tune-In LoungeFor a special treat at 50's Prime Time Café, grab a "TV Table" that seats up to 4 diners and has a television next to the table that broadcasts clips from popular prime time sitcoms circa 1955 including "Father Knows Best" and the original "Mickey Mouse Club."Bop into 50's Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner. Cocktails, wines by the glass and frosty beers are available from Mom for Guests 21 years of age and older, or relax in the Tune-In Lounge full-service bar and sip Dad's Electric Lemonade or Grandma's Picnic Punch. From the mid-50s knick-knacks and memorabilia that decorate this restaurant to the dessert menu displayed through viewfinder toys, nostalgia is the main ingredient at 50's Prime Time Café.

The decor and wait staff are a hoot! Food and service was great! Meals are hearty--I don't recommend eating here before going on any rides--wait until afterwards!

We had an outstanding server and always enjoy the atmosphere, but the food, particularly the attention to detail with food temperatures is not up to par. Three of my 4 family members had the Golden Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes, gravy, and greens. All of the sides, including the gravy were not even lukewarm. I expect more from Disney, or... More

I was looking for a good place for my husband and I to eat at Hollywood Studios and came across reviews for 50s Prime Time Cafe and thought it would be a really fun restaurant, so we made an ADR. I have been to Ed Debevic's a few times during my childhood (in Milwaukee and Chicago) and thought this would... More

This place is fun! From the moment you entered, you can feel the charm of 1950's era America (or so I'm told, I wasn't around in the 50's). Sitting at the dinner table made us feel like we were in an old black and white sitcom. The wait staff does everything they can to make you feel at home, including... More

I was told this was a great place... like eating at home or at a restaurant in the 50's. I guess I must have misunderstood! We we really seated very close to the next table... felt crowded. The waitress was not friendly and didn't feel welcomed by her. When she brought the food she just put them down, no smile,... More

The kids really enjoyed being sassed by the wait staff. They went along with them and were good natured and had fun with it. The decor reminded me of my childhood and the food was just good ole fashioned home cooked meals. My daughter thought the meatloaf was the best she had ever eaten. We always do the dining plan... We always stop here on our trips to Disneyworld, it's high on the 'must do' list The food is fine - good fried chicken, reasonable meatloaf, wonderful shakes. The atmosphere is terrifically fun. You sit in 'mom's kitchen' at formica tables with tvs all about playing old shows. Waitstaff are cousins/aunts/uncles and treat you as such, expecting you to set... More
