This steak was simply perfection! The wait staff was attentive and charming. The sides we selected were very tasty and complemented the meat very well. We were especially pleased with the broccoli au gratin. Bear in mind, the menu is entirely a la carte so be aware of all that you are ordering. One side dish would have easily served... More

We chowed down Saturday 7/2/14 and had delicious steaks and sides. Well worth the $$$$. However, not choosing the valet parking option may have cost me a tire. What are the odds of having ur tire punched in the sidewall because u parked in a valet spot???? Gee....I wonder who did that???? Had heard of that happening at this restaurant,... More

Old-fashioned steakhouse. Peruse Christner's menu online to get an idea of its prices--with a couple notable exceptions. MP (market price). You need to determine this with your server. The couple we dined with ordered a lobster tail to share between them without asking the cost. When the lobster tail arrived at the table it was huge and delicious--it was also... More

When it comes to steaks, I am a restaurant NIGHTMARE!!! I am super fussy of how I want my steak - fussy like you cannot believe. I travel extensively, and more and more my requirement and quality standard becomes higher, these guys, bust ever steak, and that includes 'Bones' of Atlants and they take some beating!! It was a 40... More

My wife and I went for our anniversary. The neighborhood is sketchy (at best) but once you get inside you will find the restaurant is a throwback to the days of Mad Men. Very well appointed interior and well maintained. The drinks at the bar were all great--one of the best Cosmos by wife has ever had (thanks Stacey). The... More

Service at the bar for martinis was as we expected, excellent. We had the ahi tuna appetizer that was delicious. For dinner, the Carole's filet was perfect in size for the smaller appetite, and the 16 oz. ribeye was the best my husband has had in a restaurant. The lobster was delicious, but a bit overcooked this time. Overall, excellent... More

As a lover of this family owned restaurant, nothing could be better than to be greeted by all the owners, seated at the best table in the house, and served one of the finest meals of this kind! Fortunately, our daughter and dear friends have gifted us with gift cards to this old fashioned steak house. It is especially fitting... More

We dined at Christner's last month for my birthday. Once again I elected to have the filet, this time the 12 oz size. I am a fan of having it cooked Pittsburgh black and it arrived cooked to perfection. Basically I just had the steak and bread as I love their homemade bread. My wife enjoyed the shrimp scampi with... Steaks were salty chewy and tough. The lobster was cool and rubbery. The service was inconsistent. I'm wondering if this is why they are no longer del frisco's?! There are to many other choices. Won't be back.
